What do you consider was dangerous about it ? , I had one and it was one of the best, if not THE best, bikes that I ever had - and that`s comparing it to bikes today. I have a Kawasaki Ninja 650 now but I`d swop it for a 900 any day.
What rust ? , I see some pitting on the aluminium engine casings and some slight rust on the header pipes where they enter the engine and a little on the passerner foot pegs but " Way too much rust " ? where? Perhaps my computer doesn`t do hi def but I`m at a loss to see the rust that you`re referring to.

It’s not a Boldore, the Boldore had a black engine
This bike has way too much rust unless you are planning to address that. Otherwise, quite lovely
Its from 79 so dont take a step to far.
