    Great review, it would have been better if you would have put keycaps on so we would hear how they would sound when used

    I I found a Glorious GMMK barebones at a thrift store today, in box, for $4.99 and you helped me decide on Gateron Black. This is my first real gaming keyboard. Thanks for this video, it really helped me.

    Well, you can get more than those keyswitch manufacturers. The GMMK1 supports any 3-pin switch, and of course, you can cut the mounting pins off a 5-pin switch to make them 3-pin. Those are just what Glorious offers. Go out there and explore!

    is this the start to the grand dive in to custom keyboards prawn? because this is my second hobby lol... id say try lubing some switches and trying to mount new stabilizers but that literally takes 20+ hrs of labor the gmmk is prob the best budget custom keyboard out there. loved the video man keep doing great things

    I ordered w/ the GMMK Pro & the new version in ludes 4x Glorious, 2x Panda & 2x Lynx. Lubed & unlubed.
    I test mounted in my intebded keyboard w/ intended keycaps to get the best feel & sounds. As the keyboard, plate & any spacers usee & desktop used effects the experience. (:

    Gotta test with key caps and you also called some of them silent. But linear and silent are very different.

    For typing I prefer Cherry MX Blue and for gaming the Browns or Reds. I'm looking to build a KB with all Blues but at least WASD (primary gaming keys) in Browns.

    They have honestly too many options. You could go by video if there just a few, but it's pretty much totally necessary to buy sample pack unless you 100% know what you want.

    Would have bought this if I knew about it before I dumped double plus for the Drop SHIFT. Already bit by the bug... Already buying pcbs etc for a numpad along with orings and new switches for the SHIFT. What a sh!tty hobby....
