I feel like adding an example problems to your videos would SUPER helpful for people that this is the first they're seeing and are just going through your playlists.

This is one of the best explanations of sign conventions for lenses that I’ve seen. Been struggling with conceptualizing lenses since yesterday, but this video helped me understand it so much better than the Kaplan book. Severely underrated video. Thank you!

This was amazing, I was having trouble understanding the explanation from Kaplan book since they just use words without images to illustrate what they explaining.

in converging/convex lenses, if the object is placed within the focal point, will the image be a real, inverted image?

For future videos that are similarly diagram-heavy, can you consider making use of a pointer/director graphic so your audience can track where you are? For instance, at 4:04, you say "image is over on *this* side," but there's no way for us to actually know WHERE you are talking about, since you are writing a tiny "-" sign in red. It would really help keep your audience on the same page and make your videos more efficient to watch!

Thanks for the feedback! I do use a pointer throughout the video, and I can't really use both the pointer and write without lengthening the video-thereby making it less efficient. I'll definitely consider some post-recording editing options, though!

I feel like you skipped necessary background information -- for instance the 2/r lens equation -- but otherwise, great video!

Thanks for the comment! The video is intended to help you use the equation properly by remembering the sign conventions, that's all. It's not intended as an in-depth explanation.
