Still think for a Lunch the Supermarket £3,50 deal of a sandwich/wrap, a drink and a snack is excellent value.

The Burger King in Halifax is notoriously crap, I complained so many times to them, including to their head office in London. They will not answer the phone if your order is wrong, which is most of the time. So I just don't use them anymore.

Only worth visiting BK on a wednesday .... u can get a whopper burger for £1.99
Prefer Burger King over all the others, although I’ve stopped going after their double bacon cheeseburger seemed to reduce in size by over a third. I can live without that kind of food if I’m being honest. Great when you’re out and about with the sprogs though.
The whole town looks like a scene from Day of the Dead? there is no liveliness anymore, this was a great country once.

You got off lightly there mate , it would have been worse if you’d had to eat bigger portion . Looked terrible .
If there competitors are offering a double burger for £6 for the sandwich only then a variety for £6 does not seem to bad ,
Trust me Deano get some fresh chicken breast slice it to finger size or bigger get a bag of what ever your fav Doritos crisp is smash it to crumbs then in a dish with beaten eggs n splash of oil pop chicken in egg let rest to drip then in crumbs n if necessary repeated then air fry you can thank me later
U should have a dip nacho cheese or mild or hot salsa to replicate Doritos dips my opinion
deano always check the bag make sure they gave u everything missing straws and sauces grind my gears
I would have gone for the £5.99 whopper meal using the app. I think Subway was a close second as the sub was a bit boring.
Why Deano didn’t you check what was in the bag before you left,or at least ask if they had put the sauces in the bag,all of the places like Burger King have sauces.😊

Have to say - Burger King for a burger, only the Bacon Double Cheese XL for me, nothing else, and Maccy for the Double Sausage Muffin, not keen on anything else from there either.

Back in the 80s, Burger King were indeed the King of burgers. These days, they're disappointing, even the Whopper.
That was a kids meal so not a fair comparison. Unfortunately £7/8/9 for McDonald’s/ BK for a “value” meal now.
