*Materials Needed:*
- Yarn: Choose a medium-weight yarn in your preferred color.
- Needles: Circular knitting needles, size 8 (5mm).

*Abbreviations:*
- CO: Cast On
- K: Knit
- P: Purl
- YO: Yarn Over
- K2tog: Knit 2 Together
- BO: Bind Off
*Pattern:*
1. *Cast On:*
- CO 120 stitches using the long-tail cast-on method.
2. *Ribbing:*
- Knit 2, Purl 2 (K2, P2) ribbing for 10 rows.
3. *Body:*
- Row 1: K10, YO, K2tog repeat from * to * until the end of the row.
- Row 2: Purl all stitches.
- Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until the body measures 18 inches from the cast-on edge.
4. *Armholes:*
- Divide the stitches into two equal parts (60 stitches each) for the front and back.
- Knit the front and back separately.
5. *Front:*
- Continue in the established pattern (Rows 1 and 2) for 8 inches.
- Shape the neckline by binding off the center 20 stitches and working each side separately.
- Decrease 1 stitch at the neckline edge every other row until 15 stitches remain on each shoulder.
- BO remaining stitches.
6. *Back:*
- Continue in the established pattern (Rows 1 and 2) for 10 inches.
- BO all stitches.
7. *Sleeves:*
- Pick up 60 stitches around the armhole.
- Knit in the round, following the established pattern (Rows 1 and 2) for 18 inches.
- K2, P2 ribbing for 10 rows.
- BO all stitches.
8. *Finishing:*
- Sew the shoulder seams.
- Weave in all loose ends using a tapestry needle.
- Block the sweater to the desired measurements.
