i have lenovo v15 with rayzen 5500u and 8 bg ram i'm using hyprland (a linux window manager) with nixos and it uses like 700mb ram on idel also very low like 5-10 percent cpu usage when watching videos and browsing web i bought it for 35000 but with linux it feels like 50000 laptop

It's a 14" Inch business laptop comes with intel 7th Gen i5 Dual-Core processor with 8GB DDR4 2433Mhz RAM, Intel HD620 Integrated Graphics, DVD Writer, 1TB 7200rpm HDD & DDOS (Ubuntu) OS. 👉In 2023, I've upgraded it with 1TB Crucial SSD, 8GB DDR4 2433Mhz RAM and Windows 10 Pro x64. I removed it's unnecessary DVD Writer which is not relavant anymore in 2024 It's total RAM is Now 16GB (*Edit: RAM is 2400MHz not 2133mhz). Now It becomes Faster like Vande Bharat Express v2.0 😂

U can go with a window but it will slow down in just 5 to 6 months of use you can looke in used market for a higher performance laptop or get a chrome book if you want to only do day to day task
