Buying an extended support from Microsoft is better than buying a new laptop which supports future OS from Microsoft, using Linux is not an option for businesses..
Well, if using Microsoft Office is a must, then Microsoft provides web interface which can be accessed through any browser (considering you're willing to buy the subscription). Using Linux is better than using any outdated Windows, and is also much more stable os for businesses than windows. Major organizations like LIC, already use linux on their computers, I just don't see why smaller businesses don't use it already since Linux is totally free and is also much more reliable since that's what businesses need...

Windows 10 won't die at least for 2024 imo as even tho windows doesn't provide updates for the os, the software companies would continue to provide updates like chrome, firefox, and people don't update the professional software like Photoshops anyways, so I believe it's fine
Windows 10 will reach End-of-life on october 25th, 2025, still a lot of time to go and decide on which OS to upgrade. If your PC doesn't support Windows 11, but is still powerful, It would be better to switch to linux for latest software and still functional computer. Software are produced for Windows 8.1 as well, but they don't seem to work as they are supposed to (speaking from personal experience)

Windows 11 can be easily installed in old or current PC's.. I have tried installing that in my old PC with Intel Core 2 Duo.. TPM can be bypassed.. No need to throw away current or old PCs just because it won't support Windows 11.. It can.. Many TH-cam videos are available that helps people to install install Windows 11 in old PCs..
