Very good video but you missed two more important points:
1)even if your phone is in warranty, physical or liquid damage is not covered, so if you accidentally dropped or damaged your phone by some way, get ready to pay almost 1/4th of the price for it's repair and once your phone is opened fully during repair, your phone won't perform same as before it will have even more hidden problems which will pop up after some time
2)iphones don't have same amount of freedom in terms of customization, features, compatibility etc compared to android. Till date iphones don't support call recorder by any possible way or live internet speedometer, so basically you are buying lakh rupees phone just to be an normal boomer minimalistic user with lots of restrictions 🙂

very useful... if everyone is aware and stop upgrading their mobiles, then mobile companies will stop releasing monthly new mobiles. Every new release, they are increasing the price to 5 to 10k, we are allowing them to increase the price for a minor changes. Good video. Appreciate it.
Good video. Another point you should talk about is how we can reduce the e-waste on earth by prolonging our use of a mobile handset, instead of changing it frequently. I am using my IPhone XR for last 4.5 years and have no intention of changing it unless it becomes a necessity. It is still pretty good today.

I recently purchased iPhone 14 very reluctantly at 61k and OnePlus Nord CE Lite 3 at 19k. I really needed the iPhone for personal reasons. I have very rich relatives and it becomes a big problem not having an iPhone in my surroundings. 😅
But my advice to everyone else is that the iPhone is a complete waste of money and the OnePlus is performing 10x better for me in terms of every feature. Even though Nord is just entry level. 😊😊

Tbh I didn’t face any prb using my old iPhone 7 for 6 years and upgraded to an iPhone 13 in June and still don’t think it is that bad as people say btw my brother has and s22 and I have used that phone as well so please don’t judge me .

pros of owning an flagship phones.
1. its will last for as long as you want , i brought an iphone SE in 2016 for abt 40K and let me tell you its been more than 8 years and it still hold it value in performance and quality
2. just a tip , do not buy the phone on EMI , instead save money for 1-2 years and then buy it , it will help in reducing and neglecting burden
3.the software experience is immaculate and you will get what you paid for .
4. you easily get software support and updates for 6-10 years depending on the brand
5. you can also get an 1-2 year old phone which will be nearly identical to the latest one and cost a friction of the original cost

I had bought nokia 6.1plus back in 2014, and still works fine like it used to work when the phone was still new. No hardware or software problems till date, though it got two major updates, but it's fine as long as it gets the work done.

Brother you are 100% right. 95% of people don't need so much power and features in a phone. Plus to notice the difference between processing speed we need to compare it with much older phones. But one thing i must add is, if you need a good camera, good performance, good battery life in a good package you will end up buying a flagship

You have maturity level above your age. I completely agree with you word by word. This applies not only to mobile phones, this rule applies to every aspect of our life and our expenditures. If we don't think logically we fall into this trap. And the middle class falls into this trap. If the middle class comes out of this trap more than 50 percent of it's financial problems will be solved.

Leave that, there's huge difference even between 12k phone and 25k phone.
12k phones were amazing back in around 2017 - 2020. Post covid, due to chip shortages, those 12k phones cost 20k+ these days.
Compare redmi note 5 with redmi note 12, you'll get clear sense and so will this TH-camr.

Bahot bahot sahi baat. I am also telling this since many years. By buying high cost phones, we are also wasting our forex reserves. Because we are giving money to these foreign manufacturer companies high amount of money for the same use which we can perform at very low cost also. The same amount of money can be used somewhere else at individual level by us and the same forex reserve. Can be utilised by government in some other important and needful thing like procuring necessary technologies like in defence, renewable energy, water recycling, waste recycling, infrastructure technology, ease, DTC very true video. This must be shared to all Indians at least 140 CR views should be there for this video.

I agree, that we should not spend on overly priced flagships. We should wait till it's price go down to reasonable value. OS upgrades are majorly free. Camera, video quality, optimization definitely needs good processing, sound system should be good as well. So buy a good phone when it is low cost but not outdated.

I completely agree with you and have been following the same principles for years now. My last expensive phone was the iPhone 5. After that, I just stick to a 15-20k phone. This can be changed every two years. A new 15k phone performs much better than a 3-4 year old 1 lac phone. Companies tweak the software with an update and reduce the performance, which forces you to upgrade your phone after two years or so. Flagship phones are meant for people who have excess disposable money. Hard-earned money should not be wasted for show-off or feel-good factors.

I purchased my oppo A31 in 2020 and still using it. Using it for the 4 years. And Hopefully it will be enough for me for the next 3-4 years. Though I can afford new one but not interested in wasting money just for the sake of show off. Yes sometimes new model of mblz attract me but I can overpower my urge to waste money on changing my mbl.

I always buy used phones on OLX. I only purchase the phones which are just 1-2 months used. I buy them at about 12-15k whose new ones are about 20-25k. After 2-4 months of use, I sell them again at 13-15k. That way I get to use new system with no cost spent. Only you need to bargain nicely, buy low and sell high. Yesterday I purchased Oppo f25, which was launched 1 month back at just 14500. 😊
Ive been using Samsung J7 Pro which I bought in around 23000 rupees, it's almost 7 plus years now and still works great except for the battery. I was thinking of buying the Samsung S21 FE which costs around 35-40K now. After watching this video I feel guilty should I buy or not. Great advice by the way. Hats off
