The court system likely approved and encouraged it. It makes more since in the terms of system policy to not accept a 17 year old who will age out in, at best, 12 months if he is freshly 17. It probably saved time, resources, and gave the spot to a more needy person. It absurd sucks that it work this way, but it does.

He was supportive. Even after deceit he stuck it out for almost an additional year. She and her crew also continued to stay in his house after they broke up. She messed that up by making him feel uncomfortable with her sexual harassment. They were even having problems prior to the nephews moving in. Years ago, I dated a man who had three young daughters... 3, 6 and 12 when we met. My son was 12 at the time. I got along great with his girls, he got along great with my son, and my son got along well with the girls. We were together for about a year, and moved in together. Then their mother got arrested on a serious drug charge and ended up either incarcerated or blowing off her parole, taking off to other states in between. We ended up with the girls full time. As much as I wanted it to work out, and without going into specific details... the pressures of inheriting three troubled kids full-time did end up being too much for me and I had to leave for myself and my son. The positive end to the story is my husband, the father of my son, and I ended up getting back together and we are now better than ever. I do feel this guy could have given her more time, but I understand 100%, why he ended it.

So, nobody else in the entire family would accept the two younger children instead of placing them in foster care. She and the grandma didn't think of jointly taking care of the children with a rotating weekly schedule or something. Eventually they will grow up to find out their family gave them up while keeping their older brother.

I don’t think either were ready for marriage. You have to tell someone about taking in family (especially young children, tf). On the flip side, if you are choosing to marry someone, you should be more supportive of their extended family as they would’ve become your family if married. Playing house is never a good idea and both should’ve been far better communicators. They both have a right to their happiness and so wishing them all well!

He was supportive. Even after deceit he stuck it out for almost an additional year. She and her crew also continued to stay in his house after they broke up. She messed that up by making him feel uncomfortable with her sexual harassment. They were even having problems prior to the nephews moving in. Everyone could have the best intentions but that still doesn't mean that it will actually work out.

Years ago, I dated a man who had three young daughters... 3, 6 and 12 when we met. My son was 12 at the time. I got along great with his girls, he got along great with my son, and my son got along well with the girls. We were together for about a year, and moved in together. Then their mother got arrested on a serious drug charge and ended up either incarcerated or blowing off her parole, taking off to other states in between. We ended up with the girls full time. As much as I wanted it to work out, and without going into specific details... the pressures of inheriting three troubled kids full-time did end up being too much for me and I had to leave for myself and my son. The positive end to the story is my husband, the father of my son, and I ended up getting back together and we are now better than ever. I do feel this guy could have given her more time, but I understand 100%, why he ended it.
