The inaugural Hinghwa Food & Cultural Festival in Singapore!

The inaugural Hinghwa Food & Cultural Festival in Singapore happens from 12-17 March 2024 at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza in Orchard Road.
The festival celebrates and showcases the best of Hinghwa culture and heritage. Aiming to promote and share Hinghwa heritage to the public, the six-day cultural extravaganza will feature mesmerising performances put up by Chinese acts who have specially flown in to participate, crafts by heritage brands and an array of authentic Hinghwa delights. The festival is organised by the Singapore Puxian (Hinghwa) Network.
The festival is free for the public, and attendees will need to purchase coupons ($20 each) to redeem at food booths. Coupons are available for purchase at the festival.
Festival goers can expect to:
- Delight in rich and vibrant performances by Chinese and local artistes: The Putian Southern Temple Shaolin Monks and the Puxian opera troupe from the reputable Puxian Opera Theatre (福建省莆仙戏剧院), are flying in specially to perform in Singapore
- Savour the exquisite flavours of Hinghwa cuisine: Expect to sample an array of over 30 Hinghwa delicacies, desserts, and drinks, made with the freshest and finest ingredients sourced directly from Putian, China
- Bring home Hinghwa crafts and specialties: Embrace the rich heritage and craftsmanship with a variety of crafts and specialties that are available for purchase at the festival.
