Honma is a great choice. Very high quality Japanese brand. I also like Miura. I might go back to blades as I just loved the feel of my old Wilson Staff model irons. I went with cavity backed irons and never really got any advantage using them. I went 1" over standard length on the shafts because I am tall but I always felt this was a mistake. Will get professionally fitted if I get a new set.

Kat, those are expensive clubs, but they hit sweet. I hit balls at the driving range owned by Koreans in Atlanta. It is very clean and well-maintained. The staff is very friendly and the range hostess could be on the cover of "Elle Magazine" any month. Recently, the pro there asked if I wanted to try the clubs featured in this video. I did and soon I found a driver that I could hit far and straight, The hits felt good and the dispersion pattern was consistent and tight. Clearly, Honma is quality. After I finished hitting, Jeannie, the hostess, said, "Come take a look at these." Kat & Iz, the heads were a gold color and the price tag was a "statement of wealth" not a cost. I didn't ask to hit those. Punch Line: The businessman who owns the driving range also owns the nearby Mercedes dealership. You know you're rich in Atlanta if you can buy a Mercedes and be fitted a set of "Honma Golds" on the same day. By the way, you two ladies would make excellent traveling reps for Honma.

Sweet irons. As soon as I got my new wilson staff irons. I change the grips right away to oversize winn grips. I can not stand the grips most clubs come with.
There is just something about custom, or fitted stuff,,,, Clubs, guns, guitars or cars. Sit in a nice car and think,,,I gotta have one of these,,, The Shee girls LOVE their clubs lol Great video I think Kat just loves taking the wrap off,,,,hahaha
Nothing would go wrong with Honma irons with N.S. Pro shafts. I've got the TW747P irons with N.S. Pro 985GH for a year now, I've gained one club yardage and deadly accurate. The ball would goes where I aimed it, so much confidence and fun now.
Ha . You do the same as us duffers. I.e. have hybrids for your long irons. Don't work out to much more or the same thing will happen with these new clubs. Fantastic outfit

The spin is not too low so I can control the ball well. I tried to hit some Mizuno irons and they were flying around 190 for a 7iron so it was super hard to get it to stop on the green for me. The flight is a good height as well.

Very good choice. I play HONMA and Kamui Works japanese irons. They are fabulous.

What course/range is that? All the ranges I go to in North County are so flat you can't tell how far the ball is going in the air.

I got fitted into the Taylormade 770s and the Honma irons. They were the two that was best for me :)
