Kirby Kraver Plus, this video is the boss rush mode, of which Dedede does not appear. Heck, you can only fight him once per file.

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards was the first game I played as a kid, but damn I kept only fighting Miracle Matter. I didn't even realize back then that you need to collect all of the crystal shards, like 100% completed from each planets in order to beat the true final boss of Dark Matter called Zero Two. Man everything was memorable from playing the adventures on it, especially the adorable fairy Ribbon and seeing Zero Two's fallen angel form looking badass.
Still, it's one of my favorite Kirby games with Super Star Ultra in second and Squeak Squads third.

I had the exact same experience, although, it’s probably a good thing I never discovered Zero-2 at first, because it probably would’ve scared the life out of me as a 5-year old. That boss still looks a little freaky to me.

This brings back memories of me playing this game as a kid. This is the first Kirby game I've ever owned and played.
64 is my favorite out of the Dark Matter Trilogy because of the 2.5D stuff.
To my mind for the music of Zero-Two.

So we went from a battling a tree with face to a final boss that looks like a undead demonic angle who's eye bleeds when you shoot it good god I never realized it, but Kirby games always seem to have some dark morbid things in them. It's seems like Nintendo likes to put dark and morbid things into there games and I love it because it's not in your face you have to play more of the game to find the darker story.

I still think about the theory someone had about the final and soul bosses being literal nightmares since Kirby's a dream warrior(?).
The only game where Kirby can walk while inhaling. (Hypernova doesn't count because that's a copy ability.)

Not anymore! Kirby can inhale whilst walking in Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
I might be wrong, but couldn't you do that with the Throw ability in Adventure or in Return to Dreamland?

Throw Kirby only throws and Backdrop moves with the throws and not an inhale

Something to make the Zero 2 fight faster: shoot the wings while he's panicking. He won't be able to aim his eye at you so you can go straight for his bandage.

I remember when I owned this game as a kid. One of the things that took me forever to figure out was how to get the last shard on that beach level. I never played Dream land 3, so I had no idea about Rick.

Maybe I exxagerate but this game and KDL2 & 3 are very dark games but in the shell they seem like really cute games.
Think about it, in this game you fight against possesed monsters, Shiver Star is like an apocalyptic future Earth were the main boss is a war robot and the final boss is a fallen angel. That's why i like Kirby games.

The cutscenes are interesting I must say, and no voice acting too. Amazing feat from Nintendo

Welp, the final boss is oxygen in the shape of an eyeball with a halo and wings. Zero-Two is what you should have put in the description, great job on no damage though.
Absolutely huge missed opportunity to bring back HR-H to Forgotten World, It makes so much sense.

Kirby 64 is very underrated it's a shame it looks fun
It's not underrated at all, people just don't talk about it much anymore because it's old
It's my least favorite kirby game. Though, that doesn't mean much since it's still a kirby game. It's really something when a game series like kirby doesn't have any bad entries. (Squeak Squad was awesome, I really don't get the hate.)

Original Zero was better, only difference I guess was the contrast in music. Zero2 was the easiest boss in the game next to wispy. Plus the blood was more abundant during Zero's fight in Dreamland 3 than it was in Zero2's fight.
