I have watched several similar shows for years. Always amazing! I am glad I found you! I enjoy seeing equipment being used and updated over time. Loved Jason and Adams narrative, explanations and your process. I am a new subscriber. God bless all who help search and bring home these missing people.
I remember when he first went missing, I worked with his wife. I hate she passed away not having closure. I’ve been following that case so long, and I knew one day he’d be found. REST IN POWER TOMMY ❤
Aww, sad to hear that. She was probably heart broken. But she met him when she passed. At least his rest of the family now know what happened to him. They can now have some closure.
Thankyou for sharing this. I was sad to see that she had passed before closure was found but I believe they were reunited. He looked like such a good, likable soul. I pray he’s resting in peace.🫶
To have grief of knowing a coworker like Tommy has been missing this long really hurts deeply. He was truly a genuine soul and will be missed by all. I cry tears of joy because he's been found and can now be laid to rest. Sending prayers to the family and all those who knew Tommy 🙏 ❤. Forever Our Continental Tires Friend 🙏
I really appreciate a PD that, once informed by independent divers/searchers, that they found a missing vehicle, they didn't go all protective of "their scene". We see that in PDs led by narcissists, who don't want to share any of the recovery with someone from out of town, who did their job! I've seen divers kicked off the scene, and PDs refuse to use their expert recovery advice, because the PD would have to share the spotlight! It's refreshing to see a PD ask for help!
Out here in Ca you have nothing but narcissists at SO's and PD's. Have worked with cops and they don't like experienced SAR teams like Adam and Jason and Nug getting involved.
Thank you Adam and Jason for finding Tommy. I dont care how many of these I see, when the car breaks the surface, I start to cry. I know their family has the answer they have been waiting for.
This one made me cry too, he was so close to home! Imagine how many times his family drove by that spot, not knowing he was right there. I bawled at this one, cause I’ve done the “celebrating a co-workers birthday” thing and left later than I expected to. Luckily there are no creeks or bodies of water, so if I did have an accident my remains would be found quickly. But after seeing this, I made a New Year’s resolution not to stay out so late again. Even though I don’t drink, I could hit a deer. I bet that’s what could have happened here. God bless these good men and God be with the family and give them peace and closure.
Wow, so many close calls on police almost finding him. Him being 10ft in the deep hole was amazing that you found him. He’s probably celebrating saying finally y’all found me!! Thank you! Tell my family and let’s put a barrier up there. Great jobs and endless searches on finding him ! Well done and God bless everyone who didn’t give up!
You could tell that detective was devastated. He missed it all those times.. But so did they the first time that they looked. Sometimes it's like that.
you can see the look of shock on the Detective's face that Tommy was there. It's like they really checked this place several times and he cannot believe they somehow missed him.
That's what bothered me. Having seen many of these I'm always baffled by how many times different agencies have not found the car when they're so close.

Bravo to Adam and Jason for bringing Tommy home, and closure for his family ~ I hope they can now have peace of mind going into the new year. Thank you for all your efforts, hard work and dedication to search and recovery.
I live in Lexington now but used to work on the base in Sumter and I can’t tell you how gutting it is when you realize how many times you drive over a body of water or sit by a lake or river and not know or even think that there could be someone’s loved one just waiting to be found. I saw another video where another group found two ppl near my childhood hometown and the rivers I use to tube in or play in and I’m like someone was in there?!! 🫢🥺💔Oh I hope all the families that are getting their closure also find the peace they deserve. ❤️🩹 So glad there’s ppl like these guys to help them begin to heal. 🙏
Congratulations Adam and Jason for never giving up and finding him. Thanks to Sauter Wrecker for your help and the entire police department who worked so well with them guys as a team. Thank you for your dedication in searching! Seems like lately missing people are being found in bodies of water that look too small to hide a car at first glance. This was one of those cases where persistence and checking all the tiny bodies of water brought results. Great work!
I think you hit the nail on the head. They must’ve missed heaps of lost people because: “Nah-he wouldn’t be in THERE !”. And you’re right because the police had actually put magnets in that very pond. And the pond was so small in this case ! Yet they still missed it-the detective said they had been there many times. But probably only one single extra foot away was a deep hole. Even when Jared snd his mates in the other search channel, have put magnets in ponds and said: “‘no it’s only three feet”, -and then they turn and leave , I have always thought to myself: “Yes, but it might be three feet all over - except for one tiny hole that’s ten feet deep”. I reckon there’s people in some of these ponds that Adventures With Purpose have already randomly thrown magnets into. This case is the one that makes this likely. Cheers mate
