I really enjoyed this video. I hadn't thought about the Big A-that's neat. Thanks for passing it on. I also hadn't ever heard about the placement being based on the density of the Elements. That makes sense. And having Air at the bottom right makes a lot of sense, and keeps the "Air Fire Water Earth" order of the Elements with which I work. You've really help shed light on the pentagram for me. Thank you!
Bravo! Simple. Elegant. I've never used the various pentagrams in ritual because the explanation of how to do them seemed hopelessly complex and impossible to memorize. I have always just used the Earth invoking pentagram. Thanks. With just a bit of practice, I can do it properly.
Lovely video! I have studied the invocing and banishing pentagram a bit, and tried to use it in ritual, but I haven´t quite gotten it I think. This was very instructional, and I much more prefer the order of the pentagram that´s in your tradition. It made more sense to me.
Ah, now I think I understand your question. The power of the movement is in the first and last move for each of the invoking/banishing pentagrams. For instance, the first "slash" where you move from the "Spirit" point down towards Air to invoke it. Rather than deosil and widdershuns, the movement is "towards" the Element for invoking and "away" from the Element for banishing. Does that explanation make more sense?
I'm an artist, and many of my pieces contain pentagrams, either right side up, upside-down, or a combined (both)...I do this as a point of honor to my father (RIP), a Pagan since before I was born, and my stepmother who believed in the philosophies of Wicca...
Birch, this was a powerpoint document that I converted into a video. I owe you for the Big A image, in case you didn't hear that in this video. Almost 40 years of teaching .. dangum, it would have been great to have added that tid bit to my repertoire a long time ago :)
I am ever so slowly making it through your videos and then you introduce me to Birch. So now I am ever so slowly making it through his vids. So much for housework lol. Jk.
thanks for your reaction on my question! With discipline, i mean invoking or baneshing. Invoking all deosil, you use with invoking two directions and also with baneshing. That can't be right! Can you explain, why!
That was very interesting and helped clear up a few things I myself had wondered for a while. Great work on Birch's part especially.

I have a feeling the octagon, is a better shape for this star. A shape often used in Feng Shui. I think the circle just concentrates the energy.

Wonderful video...thank you for sharing this with us.

Yes it is still here. If you go to FreakPhil1309 and search on Big A you will find it (in case I listed the list wrong here).
Great video!
Such a great and informative video! (I didn't even mind that it was 12 mins long! heh heh!)
I'd like to answer your question. I am sorry to say I don't understand the question. May I ask what do you mean by "the same discipline"?

The video mentioned in this vid...is this video still working? or am I getting the wrong address?
Wow thanks. Seems u also hold a secret I do not. How to do a video overlay.
Blessed be!
What does deosil mean please?
+systemfailure101 it basically means "Clockwise" or "Sunwise"
Why is the invoking not only deosil, and only widershin at banishing. You use 2 directions for the same discipline, that can't be good!
