You're lucky. My family only gets around 15-20 channels with this massive antenna on our roof. We even have it pointing at the closest city and it's not like we live in the middle of nowhere. We have a cable amplifier too btw.
Good info, have one on the way, just set up the outdoor antenna in the attic and tested it on one the TV's. got over a 100 channels (I'm in the Houston, TX) area some are radio but most are TV channels. Did get all the major channels ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX and damm in HD.
I understood most of it and it seems super easy to install but how does the TV get that connection??? Is there an app to download, maybe an HDMI or through wifi?
If you ever find time or get a chance, could you look at Guardians of the Galaxy 2 where they enter Ego's egg shaped spacecraft and see if you notice color banding on the walls. My problem with the Optoma UHD65 is color banding. Now I don't believe its the projector itself because if I go straight from my xbox one S to the projector using a Fiber Optic HDMI 50ft cable it's fine. My Onkyo HT-R494 isn't HDR compatible and if I'm going through that, I see tons of color banding in most skies and large gradient backgrounds. Here's the strange thing, if I go straight from the Xbox to the projector with that cable it STILL has color banding unless I go into settings on the Xbox and un-check YCC 4:2:2. I've read that you should only have that check marked if you in fact have a device that needs it as somehow it can force the xbox into a 4:2:2 color scheme. In fact others with other TV's and a variety of cables and setups have mentioned getting color banding with that setting checked. Most of it is over my head but ..... hey, xbox one S and Xbox one X 4K HDR playback is the same so.... and I'm going straight to the projector with a 50ft fiber optic RUIPRO HDMI cable so I can't imagine there being anything more straightforward than that. Sorry for how long this was but if you do get a chance, check that scene out and pay close attention to the walls inside and see if you see strange wavy patterns and artifacts. Then turn off the YCC 4:2:2 on xbox and see if you see a difference. Ghost in the Shell has the same issue in the sky and one good place to see it is the very last scene of her up on a building before the credits. The Revenant is a good one too in the sky shots. ANYHOW, thanks!
Hey there, yeah its chapter 5: Deepest Darkest Secrets, they are inside that spaceship talking to the alien assistant to Ego about what she can feel when she touches them. If you just pay attention to the walls in there. Most of it has color banding for me, I noticed that its especially noticable at 35:17 on the white wall next to Star Lord's head. I'll be getting a Sony STR-DN1080 receiver today which supports HDR10 and dolby vision so I'll see if this resolves it as it should. My question is that YCC 4:2:2 setting on xbox display settings. With that checked it color bands, with it unchecked it doesn't and thats straight to the projector.
btw i installed the Sony STR-DN 1080 receiver which is HDR compatible and everything is fine, HOWEVER, if I check mark the YCC 4:2:2 setting on the xbox, I absolutely get a lot of color banding. Very odd why it does that but I figured I'd point that out to you just in case you hadn't noticed.
Condo on the 4th floor and on the wrong side of the building. So I pay 10 bucks a month for very basic channels. But I can record 4 channels on My HTPC.
hdhomerun is supposed to be releasing a prime 6 tuner version this summer.... I will be upgrading to that from the 3 tuner I have now, unless, I move out of cable service areas (looking for a house...) as to antenna tv, you may need a very powerfull antenna, or, if you can get one onto the roof....

Did u have to put in your credit card info before getting to that golf channel @ 12:24? (Or at any point before that)?
No credit, only If you want the DVR service

Good! 👍🏽
Quick question, if I have a cable box and add this to it (connect it) would be work?
No, only antenna and a Ethernet connection.
You still happy with the results you get from the HDhomerun from Dust or have you moved on to something else?
Still use the HD Homerun for local stuff on fire Stick. 👍🏽
I understood most of it and it seems super easy to install but how does the TV get that connection??? Is there an app to download, maybe an HDMI or through wifi?
Many devices work with hd honerun. The HD Homerun App Is on those devices, then they plug and play on your TV.
I understand but if you only have the smart tv and no xbox, play station, roku or fire stick (etc.) it’s no use.
Thank you I appreciate the update cause I was looking at $50 antennas
Glad I could help!
Darin Buss Grab a cheap one and the $50 one and see which one works best for you. 👌🏽
Do they limit the amount of devices you can stream at once? BTW SKOLLL from Duluth, Mn
if they are on the same tv show, or is 1 tuner per device.
Two tuner or 4 tuner design. No limit of devices, just the tuner limit. Skol! 😀👌🏽
@@TheRafcave so with the 4 tuner device, you could run 5,6,7 or more devices at the same time?
Yes but you would be limited to on 4 different channels. Just go with two HDHonerun s and have more tuners available.
Where can I buy a cable amplifier so I can get a stronger signal?
You can buy a amplified antenna for stronger signal or buy a amplified cable splitter to boost the signal. Amazon.com or Bestbuy.com
Is there a fee for guide
No fee.

Noah One Hey can you tell me what chapter It Is or what time In the movie that scene starts?

Just watched the scene with the YCC 4:2:2 checked and unchecked and happy to say I saw no color banding. 😀😉👌🏽
does this have tlc?
No, just local antenna TV.
Sweet little tuner wish. I could get over the air TV But to far away and behind a hill.
Toby Hines Outdoor antenna work?

Somehow I thought that'd be larger. That's not that much larger than the Dual I'm using now...
It's the same box just more Inside.
can you watch baseball games on here like the cubs
Only local antenna TV stations.
