I group celery with herbs. Try roasting Okra if you haven't already. Also for preserving peppers, try cut them up small and pour oil over, rather than freezing.
Definitely trying it out either way! Hopefully you’re right🤞🏼we’ve moved so much that they haven’t always had the best storage circumstances, so I’m thinking that’s why I had a hard time with them last year. Doesn’t hurt to try though :)
Just stumbled across your channel and subscribed 😊I look forward to watching you grow! I will be growing blue spice basil for the first time this year. I hear the pollinators LOVE it and it makes a tasty tea that supposedly tastes like vanilla. Idk how true that is but I'll guess I'll see lol
Aww hi! Thanks for being here :) I’m looking forward to growing it & im so grateful for the friend who sent it to me! I’d love to try it in tea. Starting some of the seeds this weekend!✨😀
The peas might’ve been in the last video (can’t remember haha) but yes to both - I’m growing 1 okra to try because I’ve never had it! But I figured if I don’t love it I can use it in bouquets once it’s woody :) I’m growing a boatload of peas! Snap, snow, and some shelling. We’re getting cattle panels this weekend for trellises
@@calicocowacres ok cool. I was gonna offer some okra and peas. I have seeds for both that I have now been growing and save for the fourth year now. I’m in upstate South Carolina.
This is so cool (and so kind of you!) we have kind of maxed out our space this year for peas but I’d absolutely love love love to grow some of them in next year’s garden! We’ve been really hoping to find some local varieties/saved seeds of things from this area from neighbors and whatnot so I really appreciate this!
The sugar baby watermelons are oh so good. I love growing those.
I can’t wait to try them! I swear I could live on watermelon alone 😁
What, no honeydew? It's the best melon!

You shouldn't have much germination trouble with pepper seeds from 2018. I have much older pepper seeds that I continue to use successfully.

I like you and your Kate
Are you growing any okra or peas? I might have missed it if you mentioned it.
