►1 medium head romaine lettuce
►2 cooked chicken breasts from a rotisserie chicken

This was absolutely delicious, Natasha.
For anyone who is interested, the Cobb salad has an interesting history. It was invented in 1937 by the owner of the famous Brown Derby restaurant, Bob Cobb.
Late one night after the restaurant closed he was having drinks there with a few friends who dropped by late and were hungry. Bob raided the refrigerators for leftovers and came up with the ingredients that you listed in your recipe and tossed them all up in a big bowl.
The guests loved it! One of them was Sid Grauman of the famous (then) Grauman's Chinese Theatre. He came back the next day and ordered "The Cobb Salad" and a culinary star was born!

Believe it or not, lobster used to be considered a poor man's food!
@@johnlafleur9251 Well my friend who hates all seafood proclaims that lobster is just the "cucaracha" (roach in Spanish) of the sea! I guess I agree that bottom feeders of the ocean are a bit gross but I try not to think of it as I'm enjoying how delicious they are!

When I was a young girl, my grandmother made me a Cobb salad a lot with homemade dressing, and all the veggies came out of her garden, it tasted so good, I miss her 😀

I made this today and it is delicious! Surprisingly I didn't make any changes. I made the recipe verbatum. I also calculated the contents and while there is a fair amount of good fat, it's not too much at all. This meal is just right.
P.S.: What's with all these people commenting when they haven't even made the salad yet? How can you really comment on the goodness without having tried it? Try it, people! :)

The salad was excellent. So many versions of Cobb Salad but this one of the best. I took chicken filet, Rubbed it with your spice choices and cooked it in the Ninja Foodi and then sliced. Your dressing is also a nice take on the mustard-vinger dressing recipe. Excellent all around. I'm lazy, so the Foodi was used back-to-back-to-back to cook the bacon, followed by the chicken, followed by the egg boil.

I am trying to start a movement to eradicate garlic from the face of the earth but it is really hard.for some unfathomably bizarre reason people seem to like this revolting ,disgusting herb ,or whatever it is. ( really enjoyed the recipe (with out garlic of course ) and it was so delicious !Thanks for the wonderful recipe. ( without the garlic of course)
