man you need your van back to get that 40% raise!
Agreed but after expenses it’s not 40% but it is better for sure. I pick up my van tomorrow:)
@@ExpeditingAmerica nice!
@@demri123 yessir! Thank you for watching and supporting the channel
You crazy. This guy needs to stay company driver and not owner op. I mean basically all his donaters are owner ops since they fixed his van for him. But question is how long does he think this gas motor will last ? 1-2 years? And he owes 6 years on that van. Dude is bound to fail again. Stick around and watch
@@AmandaShowerless stay company driver while paying for my van? Doesn’t sound like a good or smart idea. I like the name change btw from James Geeee to Amanda showerless. Lol anyway I plan on switching up a few things. Lower mile trips with higher rates, trying to stay more local or regional, saving more for maintenance etc, I also don’t plan on keeping the gas engine longer than I have to. Looking to sell it after the election. I have to pay some of it down before I can do that. Also started my business credit for emergencies in the future.
Also working on growing the things I’m doing on the side. TH-cam, coffee, and some other things I’ll speak on when the time is right :) I appreciate all your honest and supportive comments as well as emails you send me Manx means a lot that you care so much about me ❤️
Enjoyed this episode. A lot of variety of situations. Be safe out there.
Thank you William! You’re the man for watching and showing some love! God bless!
I woulda gave up half way through the week.i need consistency
I hear that. Consistency is nice
Bro you are awesome. Not all comments are worth replies. Most guys on here are sad jealous BUMS. Keep grinding, thanks for motivating me to keep hauling
You’re wrong. You’re awesome Jason. And we motivate each other. Thanks for watching and taking the time to show love. I know I shouldn’t reply to haters but I have a weird outlook on people like that and I appreciate their energy. I can take it and use it as inspiration.
Really enjoy the videos. I like the fact you break down the numbers. It would be great if you could do a break down at the end of each month so we could see an overall snapshot. Stay safe out there.
I appreciate your content. Don’t let any haters slow you down!
I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to press play and support.
I finally found a job I start on the 18th of March driving the same exact van
That’s awesome where are you based out of
I’m finally getting a chance to catch up on your Vlogs I loved this vlog because now I know what to adjust my prices to thank you for teaching me something new and helping me grow a little bit more wiser
Welcome to Wisconsin in one of our warmest winters ever, you were miles from my house. Have had a load taken back where we drove like one block and had to go back because the crane cancelled on the receivers end. They still had to pay a truck call, load and unload fee. Some double pick ups like that where got settled by the time stamp on the orders.
Idk how you live up there! Lol I’m from Florida. Completely different. Oh man that is no fun at least I didn’t leave. I was so bummed but shit happens lol thanks for watching and sharing
I lived in Madison WI most my life. I don’t miss it 😂
@@ExpeditingAmericanext time you’re there checkout state street in Madison good food there
@@HarryF86 idk how people live up north honestly. The winter is crazy
@@ExpeditingAmerica I’m from Central America. Born on a navel base. I’m a military brat. Spent a Winter in Alaska. Never again
Enjoyed the longer video covering multiple days/load
Yes me too. Helps me catch up on these episodes. The next one is a long day so it’s just one video for one day but I want to do more week recaps
It's starting to get pretty busy on the road. Hoping they are keeping you busy
Yes it’s been very steady. Rates have gone up for me slightly but I think that’s just because we are being more selective and I’m not doing 2,000+ mile trips for .80-.90 like before being a dumb dumb
Hey Brandon this is my 2nd time watching this video. Matter fact I watch your videos at least once a week. The way you carry yourself, your willingness to put these videos together (THIS ONE WAS 30 MINUTES) most tv shows aren’t even that long. They have commercials and all. Bubba Joe is the icing on the cake. I wish I had a dog with me when I was trucking
I agree, he puts together some of the best cargo van delivery videos on TH-cam!
@@harrambeejackson1300 i just feel like im riding with him and joe! i havent been over the road in a long time so its nice to experience it like this
Enjoyed the video. Man, that 40% van fee is brutal, especially for all that work you put in.
Yes it is brutal but I agreed to it and didn’t wanna do something else while tryin to get an engine
I’m gonna be doing my first next week OTR for 2-3weeks hopefully it’ll go smooth ..I’m like nervous but excited too lol reason why I’m watching all these videos to help me get started
Just be careful man. The industry sucks right now.
@@ExpeditingAmericawhy does it suck at the moment?
@@atrain132 I’m sure it does and I don’t see why I would get any better. With immigrants coming here that’ll work for pennies. There’s no way to be all the loads are taken unless you have a great connect.
Where do you get your oil changed other than the dealership? My 2023 MB 2500 w 170WB will be delivered on 7/1 so I can hit the streets. I'm so excited.
Love the positive attitude , you should open a P.O. Box to send bubba some toys and treats 🎉
I came across this video because I subscribed to your channel after seeing a few of your videos. In this video I heard you say that you’re from Florida. I live in Orlando. Any suggestions on which Dispatch companies to try to go through so I can get loads like you do so I can make the type of money that you are. You are truly an inspiration as to where I could be. Doing what you’re doing is why I got into this in the first place.
First of all, thank you for subscribing.
When you refer to the type of money, I was making and all honesty it wasn’t enough. Rates in this industry are horrible. It took my engine breaking down, and my business crumbling for me to realize that. Florida is very tough for Freight. If you have kids I would try to find a local company that needs a truck or maybe Courier work.
The only way I would suggest expediting for anyone is if they had a company that would keep them moving at over $1.20 a mile minimum but that’s hard to find.
The carrier that I worked with was very good, but even so I spent a lot of days sitting in those days you can’t make up
Something that will help in the winter look up snow socks for your tires they work well in the tricky situations in the snow and ice
I love your vlogs!!!
Man I say “I appreciate you” in comments all day long but I don’t think people realize what it means that y’all take the time out of your days to watch my channel and support. Thanks Rick
Great video Brandon 👍🏻👍🏻
Appreciate you taking the time to watch. It was a long one
"Stay in your car" oil chance. I like that idea first time I have seen that.
Great video, thank you for the update.
Your the man Scott! How’s everything?
@@ExpeditingAmerica, I’m doing good, been busy the last 3 weeks one of these days we will cross paths. I usually stay in the Midwest , I did take one to Philly last week. When we do cross paths I will be happy to buy breakfast, lunch or dinner depending on the time of day.
We will have to keep in touch. I’d like to update where I’m going more frequently so we can make that happen. I’d be honored and so would bubba Joe
What is your biggest hurdle out there on the road? The thing that makes you want to quit?
Multiple days with no work… one day isn’t so bad I can usually find something to do or a hike for bubba but the down time definitely gets to most drivers. Having bubba is a huge hack.
Ready for another dope vid homie
I can’t remember a video you didn’t support brother. Thank you hope you enjoyed it. A lil different and longer than usual
keep up thje great work!
Much love check out some of my newer episodes
When it's slow work some apps too keep money in your pocket. And keep the contact coming.
Eh. In my time with Gig apps they come in handy sometimes but the west and tear of using your breaks locally, less miles per gallon cuz it’s not highway miles. And what if im taking a gig app load and need to take a real load? I lost out a couple times because I didn’t know how long the reciever would take etc.
I move 70% of the time so I take that 30% and use it to go on hikes with bubba, work on TH-cam videos etc
Can you do duos on the sprinter van ? Me and my pops want to drive together
You can and some loads are only for team drivers
Hey Brandon…Does dispatch handle billing for you to get paid? I’ve got a van with my authority but have only been using gig apps but ready to go on the road. I’m currently in the process of trying to get on with a carrier. The load board situation was just too much of a pain to deal with, especially having a new authority. I’m wanting to stay more regional (within a thousand miles or so) but not sure if that will work. Anyhow, I really enjoy watching your videos and seeing you and Bubba Joe out on the road. Keep up the great work my friend.
Hey yeah the carrier handles billing and all. They have a factoring company that pays them out on the loads once a week.
It’s hard to get in the game and be picky about where you go. I’m most cases carrier will test you and see if you’re really bout this life or not. They will probably give you bad loads at first. This is a business where who you know is very important.
Thank you for watching and if that didn’t answer your question let me know
Brother How’s the diesel engine doing and what’s the mpg when fully loaded? Be safe out there.
The diesel is the way to go. Wish my van was. Fully loaded? Idk cuz I don’t do that that often but I assume around 17-20mpg with a heavy load depending on the terrain and speed
Did you get some kind of compensation because they actually gave you the load, you SIGNED for it, and then they took it back... does that not get you compensation?
I ask because I am guessing the double book is different from the TONU that got you the $150.
Also do you still do the Ufill app thing for gas/diesel? I ask cause you did not mentioned that this video.
I was doing 90% dedicated freight at the time so no I wasn’t using UShip. Yes I got compensated but not worth it
What companies out there will provide the van for you and you just do the driving? Not sure if I want to take on the van and insurance expense at first until I know I can make money and not just break even. Thank you.
You’re smart. Best to learn on someone else’s dime. I wish I knew companies off hand. But I know I’m indeed if you search non cdl driver sometimes companies post in there. Best of luck and thanks for watching
Hey brother great content! About to start here pretty quick shopping insurances. What’s a good load board to start with?
Can you show your diesel heater set up…
Nice video Bro I have a question. How long the van Motor lasts since you drive a lot of miles. Please reply when you get a chance.
Well, they say a gasoline engine will last about 400,000 miles and they say a diesel will last about 800,000 to 1,000,000 miles or more depending on how somebody takes care of their vehicle
@ExpeditingAmerica Thanks for the reply but I heard from other people that sprinter motor's life is around 300,000 miles.
Yeah maybe for gas engine.
Is this today or tomorrow? I got a notification
It’s Tuesday at 5 sorry eric
@@ExpeditingAmericajust watched and it seems like your rate per mile is going up
Yes and I’m doing shorter trips for better rates instead of longer trips for crappy rates. But the rates still aren’t where they should be
What carrier are you with???
If you don't mind
I used to work with a company called mkd when I was expediting
This is an original episode
Wanted to give people a look at the day to day for a week
How does that van do in the snow?
It does well. Just gotta have some good tires on there.
bubba joe is clever.
Smarter than me
Lol
How do you stay warm at night? Do you leave your van running?
If you watch the video I show my diesel heater running :) it runs off an auxiliary battery
@@ExpeditingAmerica I must have missed that part. I’ll go back and watch it again. Thanks.
@@manbearpig637 it’s a Chinese diesel heater. It goes under the passenger seat.

It is possible! Keep in touch
I will
Yo, since you're from Florida, how much do you pay for insurance?
I'm a driver for Bolt Express which company do you work for
How much did you get your van for?
The blue van was 50k
@ do you have any recommendations where to look if you’re financing?
@ no idea I didn’t even finance I took over someone’s payments. Best of luck
Im looking to become a sprinter van driver to make money. I currently dont have s van but i heard there are company drivers tgat the company will supply the van. You have any recommendations with what companies to check out?
Bubba Bubba Bubba Jooooooeeeee
🐶🐶🐶🐶
I want get out on the road. Please is there anyone who can help me to started
You can help yourself get started.
To be a driver you gotta find a fleet owner or carrier looking for drivers. (Very hard because so many people want to try it so you will probably be on list unless you get lucky)
If you want to be an owner operator go to fmcsa website and educate yourself on what’s needed.
It takes funds and a business plan. After you do some research and if you have more questions come back and ask and I’ll try and help more
But this is all on you. Educate yourself my friend. How bad do you want it?
Who are you contracted with
I don’t expedite anymore. It was a small mom and pop company out of Venice Florida. Not sure if they are still doing it or not
You need to do ROCK, PAPER SCiSSORS
Man we should have! Lmfao! Good call
🤣 death match! Winner get the load
@@HarryF86No one would get the load; one dead, on arrested for murder…oh wait…Memphis is run by Democrats so the murderer will be released in time to take the load.
Facts lol
Are there any otr van companies that only require license?
Who is your dispatcher?
I don’t have a dispatcher anymore. I got out of the expediting business and now do more LTL furniture based shipping check out some of my new videos.
Is the van a diesel or gas?
How do you get your loads.
I used to go through a small carrier. But that industry is dead man. Over saturated and it pay enough on a consistent enough basis. Definitely do your research with who you sign up with. Some people figure it out and make the right connections but the turn over rate is over 80%
I have a van too how do I rent it
I’d definitely double think that. A) nobody will treat your vehicle like you. B) you have to have a way or they have to have a way to consistently book good loads and be out on the road for weeks at a time. C) it’s more headache then it is money.
@@ExpeditingAmerica I can rent it with the company or you have to have someone work for you?
@Abdulrahman.khalid it’s possible man. Just gotta do some research and figure it out. There are many ways to work the business
@@ExpeditingAmerica Please ask why and answer me
@Abdulrahman.khalid ask why what? I’m not sure what you’re asking my friend. If you have a van you can sign on to a carrier. It’s just hard to find a good one. I don’t know any that I can point you too
What company do you contract for?
Where do you sleep at bro??
Man, what's apps do you use?
In this case .... rock paper scissors 😂😂😂😂
😂🤣😂🤣
Yo axle live did a video two days of you your famous gotta copyright your vids😂
I expected more than 150 views with 18k subscribers 😂🤣
People won’t trip for having your dog with you?
I think three Reciever’s didn’t allow dogs but 96% of the time we were good
For the algorithm
You’re a champion! Thank you
Look like you were parked in Cordova Germantown Parkway arcoss from IKEA
It says March 5th
Yeah it premiers tomorrow at 5pm. I had problems uploading it today. I apologize
Sorry that you were in Mempho and I wasn’t around for that snow. Bro. We were suffering on the beach in January 😇😉👊🏼
Lmfao I can just imagine Eddie
Do you have your own authority?
770 miles and only $100 spent in gas? Bro put me on what van you have before I buy one lol
This high output diesel does 450 miles on a tank. I was getting diesel at $3.15 with my discounts. I filled up once for $61 then again for $40
Yea these vans are really good on gas. Hold like 24 gallons. Mileage is pretty decent
Waffle House is where's its at.
Why don't you do box truck? Has higher rpm. There are certain trucks under 10k gross lbs. Sprinter van is not worth the energy you're providing. Honestly speaking, I feel exausted just by watching your face and videos. I just feel kinda sorry for your efforts.
I got into my van because a subscriber allowed me to finance through him. th-cam.com/video/Kf3KTejTNms/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zc-iOnij23JCQXQR
Please don’t feel sorry for me or worry about me. This is all my doing, my choice, my decision. I wouldn’t change a thing or take anything back. Everything is how it should be. I may do box truck, I may do many things. This is just a stepping stone. But for now I’m upside down with this van so I’m going to switch the business model up a little and try to work smarter not harder. But at the end of the day it’s all a part of the journey. :)
Thanks for watching
Your comment kinda makes me happy tho because the purpose is to educate people on the realities of the business and how people have to run to make not that much. I always worry my videos make things look too glamorous or too good. I would rather convince someone to not get into the business then to do so
You are not showing enough videos like you used to. Just 1 video a week come on man.
lol it’s always been one video a week when it comes to episodes. I maybe did two in a week once or twice. Thanks for being so kind and understanding. :)
This video is old as hell.
I would love to see you drive 50 hrs a week, shoot and edit footage, put in all the captions, info, pics, etc and have it done right away. Time flies out on the road and I’m sorry my videos aren’t up to date
Good
