Zo'n hele dikke gefilterde 'airy' pad sound. Heerlijk.
Here he is again at last!
I was trying to get a very fast snarefill (32th notes or 1/4 step) the other day with a single 909 sample but couldn't get it to sound smooth. The fact that the sample repeats so fast introduces ugly digital pitched tone. I guess uses analog hardware solves the issue by introducing randomness in the waveform, getting rid of too much identical repeats. I tried using several different samples but it is a pain and wasn't great either. Introducing slight pitch randomness around the center for each sample gave me better results. But I am open for more suggestions.
If you want to get closer to the analog snare effect introducing tiny pitch variations is also the first thing I would try. Sometimes its the sample itself though, there are quite a few snare sound variations possible on the 909 so maybe try out a couple of other samples as well.
Yes I did. Separate outs: Kick, Snare, Clap, Hihats, Crah, Ride The toms and rim shot come out of the stereo out. Some extra info: The kick goes through a mackie mixer channel with a slight overdrive and goes through an Alesis 3630 after that. The toms and rim shot get some tape delay. All the rest has a bit of room reverb on the sends.
Magic of the 909. The perfect sound formula - as it always had been.
Imagine the joy of waking up on a Monday morning... To a live techno session. The joy is real
From 😴 to 🔊
Happy 909 day!
Now imagine that happening on a TUESDAY! 😁
Any day there's an Estuera video it's a good day
Oh hello 1999 Paul Oakenfold essential mix vibes 😍
Man, that's beautiful! I didn't expect complete track. Firstly, I thought it just 909 demo..
Wicked session and a proper nod to "Dave Clarke - Wisdom To The Wise"
Yes, as soon as you start pushing a minor chord stab with a big kick you can't escape the wisdom to the wise vibe 😬
Happy 909 day!
Feels like a trance night in 1993 at my favourite club when I was 18 years old! Thank you for bringing back that good vibe!
Gotta love some good old techno trance!
My pleasure 😁
I could listen to this for hours. Holy crap, sooo good! Happy 909 day!

Fantastic!! Thank you!
Excellent
w00p w00p! A proper track! Blasting it in the studio right now. 909 is my favorite default type of drum sound to aim at even when synthesizing my own
It's the foundation in every possible way.
Number 1 ...... Thnx !!!
topperrr
nice. solid jam and camera work.
Thanks!
"The Best of Techno Traxx 1997"

Fijne 909 dag!
I could listen to a 909 for 909 years!
Great work, thank you for sharing.
Great work! 👍
damn some crazy dub techno going on! love it
Perfection
Lovely work on this E !
love it :) edit: hell yea, a Cubase user!! love the chords mate, well done
Thanks :)
And in this case everything is sequenced from the 909, Cubase simply is the mixer, which works really well.
@@Estuera oh wow, that's even more impressive :)
Happy 909 day. Done almost as in the "traditional" way. Nice blend of classic and modern stuff in here, to get that early techno vibes.
Happy 909 day!
I can't believe that an 40+ year old machine still gives us goosebumps like this !
Happy 909!
Samw to you!
Couldn't help putting my hands in the air at 6:30
What a nice celebration track 🚀 HAPPY 909 DAY 🌻

Thanks and happy 909 day!
Nice. When is 707 day? Everyone seems to forget him. Poor fella.
That one already passed by in silence. Lets see what can be done next year 😉
Now my 626 feels a bit left out…
Nice! Happy 909 day!!
Same to you!
Well, done as always, my man!
Thanks! And of course happy 909 day!
Gran trismo ish
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

@@Estuera Nice Setup by the way ;-)
Yes, I'm very happy I have been able to get all these beautiful instruments together.
Awesome, good jam!
Thanks! Happy 909 day!
Nice performance! Zeer mooi.
Dank u! 909 ftw
@Estuera Going to do a MPC version tribute. There are cool Nine Oh Nine kits in The Vault.
Nice 909 day!
How did you do sidechain for hardware pad sound?
The pad sound goes into a compressor that is sidechained by the kick. So its done the classic way.
had no idea of "909 Day", what a great idea! also, amazing mix, that was badass!

Did you use multi outs and if yes, how many? Sounding great! All the best, Tobi
Yes I did.
Separate outs:
Kick, Snare, Clap, Hihats, Crah, Ride
The toms and rim shot come out of the stereo out.

@@Estuera hehe the dirty6! Thanks so much for the elaboration :) All the best, Tobi
Yaas, lets go!!!!!!!
Hellz Yeah!!
The video is 34 seconds too long :)
Ooh yes, I see now... I should have edited that. Next year we go for 9:09 😁
Happy 909 day!
