    I did a bit of a hybrid on mine. I used the yak-power setup but then ran to a cigarette lighter and volt-meter/ usb combo panel in the front as well. The yak power unit definitely made this an easier build overall.

    Just received my Yak Power system. Been watching a lot of install videos and just came across yours. This is by the far the best and most informative one I've seen. You even go a step further by talking about the "Amazon" version and how you can incorporate it with the Yak Power System. Nice job! Liked and subscribed. Thank you.

      One thing I noticed, the USB charger from Yak Power does NOT charge fast. It is very slow. Used it a full year and had the same problem.

    Awesome... I am buying Yak-Power!!!! You sold me... I am getting most of my accessories in the mail in the next few weeks.. I wish you were in Florida.. I would gladly pay for some hands on help with rigging... never had a kayak and I am a bit apprehensive to ruin it.... heard of gun shy, well, I am drill sky.. afraid to put holes in my new boat... and, GOD Bless to you too.. and thanks for these videos, they are extremely helpful

    T.J. great vid bro. I started with the amazon usb and VM ports, for charging electronics, a Cabela's and Nocqua battery for my FF. Now, I love the yak-power, because the relay box, cleaner, and easier install. Now i can charge my drone, cell phone, go-pro, off two usb ports i installed. I run a Led bow light red/green, and my visicarbon pro. I also run the new PP 768 J2 Bixpy. 💯 🌊 🎣

    Thanks TJ. Yak-Power is a little bit more money but is worth it in the end. Also, question...Did you choose the mount the YP switch in the front because you wanted to have the YP relay in the front hatch? Noticed it was different on the new boat.

    If you go DIY still run some sort of switch to the meter and outlets. They will draw power even if you have them switched off on the outlet itself.

    TJ.. great content as always. Question.. concerning the Yak power set up.. Probably a dumb question… but how long are the wires you get? The plug and play connections looked short. Do you get extra wire with the kit… do you have to splice wire in to reach different areas of the yak??
    Thanks! Love your videos my friend!

    Amazing channel. Thanks for the vids. Question about your kayak cart with wheels that you built about 3 years ago. How has the cart been so far? And also if you use it as storage for your kayak how is the bottom of your kayak looking? Any indentations and what not? Again thanks for the videos and look forward to more videos.

    Just set up what you want w an sae plug then you don’t have to splice from the yak power end.

    Thanks so much for all of the great content .... Bit of an off question , I saw your speaker in this video , that is exactly what I'm looking for on my rig .. what model is that , also is it hardwired ? Bluetooth?

    • @KayakUSA1
      @KayakUSA1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Thomas! That’s just a rechargeable Bluetooth speaker that my son got me. I think it’s called the H20 water jacket. I’ll link the one I have here for you but they have several different models now. Best thing is, it’s water proof!

    This was more like a commercial for Yak-Power. At every comment it was all about how much more work you would need. This is the problem, most of these reviewers receive it for free. If I got it for free, I would have good things to say about it also. If I am spending my money on it, for 4 times the cost, it better not need any troubleshooting etc which isn't the case. you can customize the panel how you see fit, which you cant with yak power. SAE plugs are cheap and can be added to any product and not yak-power exclusive. If you have no technical abilities and a deep wallet, then Yak-power is likely your only option anyway.
