    I saw these guys in 94 or 95 and it was one of the only concerts where I sat in the front row the lead singer was putting everything he had into it. I mean dude's veins were popping out, sweat was pouring off him, it was a great performance. Funky song.

    Kyuss soooooo ruled back in the day. I worked with a now-defunct club called Papa Joe's in Baton Rouge, LA to get these guys booked on this tour...then about 2 or 3 weeks before they were supposed to perform they split. So the show never happened. I saw them at Tipitina's in New Orleans on the Sky Valley tour....thank you to my friend Al Hodge of Tungsten for videotaping that show. I still have that video and watch it periodically. Kyuss just ruled and were like no one else.

    Agreed... Josh Homme even had his shit plugged into a bass amp a good portion of the time. Genious low-end frequencies from both Oliveri and Reeder combined with Homme's sludgy guitar makes for a great combo.

    John Garcia is one of the best, hottest, coolest, mindblowing vocalist ever. I´ve been at gigs with Kyuss, Unida, Vista Chino and last week in Stockholm John Garcia´s solo project. He´s still got it, and he´s still HOT as hell. God damned!! And he is a humble, lovely man.

    Can't believe people are actually bashing Garcia, the man sings with some fucking passion. Whenever people ask me about my favorite singers, I always tell them Neil Fallon, John Garcia, and Rob Halford.
    Halford is technically the best singer of the three, but that's not all you look for in a singer, which is why I consider the other two on par with him.

      @therestimenow 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @therestimenow
      @therestimenow 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Uncle Fester Do you not agree? Do you think he is bad at what he does? Just because he isn't good in the traditional sense, doesn't mean he isn't a joy to listen to. Same could be said for Ozzy, Les Claypool, Johnny Rotten, Jello Biafra, Al Jourgensen, etc.

    • @DeadManSinging1
      @DeadManSinging1 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      therestimenow Mike Patton is a terrific singer. He's more than just "good at what he does". He has the highest range of any other known singer alive. He can sing in almost any style. You should probably listen to his stuff beyond Faith No More. He can sing opera songs for crying out loud.

    • @therestimenow
      @therestimenow 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Like I said, I'm not a fan, so forgive me for not knowing trivia about him. I haven't even heard him sing opera. Still, what I said wasn't incorrect, I think you're fanboying just a little too hard.
