I did this to my SV, I used the original bucket though, I fabricated a steel ring with locating points that fit with the locating tabs on the rear of the led light, then welded fillets with 6mm holes at the top and bottom of the ring so it would bolt to the original bucket, then the wires just plugged straight into the original harness.
holy crap guys, when i watched the turn signal lights i melted! So cool, ty for this video as it really helped me decide if i am buying or not. Although i am buying from aliexpress, do you think i m going to regret it?
We bought the bike with thise bars already installed so im not entirely sure, we were going to switch it up and try some renthal road bars which are similar though so check them out!
Thanks man just got a sv650 at 17 for my first bike, super stoked and was planning on doing this as well
The sv is a great bike! Its easy to learn on and has enough power to stay fun for years

Thank you very much for making this video. Super helpful, and about the only video on TH-cam over how to do this!
No worries, glad you found it useful!

Where i can get the same windshield?
Looked like a lot of knowledge went into that wiring. How’d you learn all that sea wrap?
Never claimed to be a professional, gotta start learning somewhere :) thanks for watching
Will this work for the newer sv650
Where did u get that fairing windscreen? Been looking for the same exact one
I think they were maybe a factory option? This one came with the bike
Great video. Which windscreen do you have? Looks awesome.
It's stock! Was an option when purchased new i think
How did you fit the support rod/bar (with the spring) that sits on the outside of the new housing?
I cant fully remember, but i think we had to bend it slightly to line up
@@BentleyCoachworks I thought I may have to do that, cheers mate!!
Great video. What turn signals are you using? Thanks!
Thanks man, not sure as they came on the bike but tst make a very similar set that i use on my wr250r
So, does it shine better?
Way brighter
What headlight is it ?? Looks solid
Hi, i just linked it in the description, check it out!
Did you need a resistor for it?
Its built into the headlight we used! i have it linked in the description
@@BentleyCoachworks thank you!
Find any dope rear lights?
Unfortunately the sv tail lights are so unique you would have to make a custom undertail to delete the stock lights if you want to change it up
What year sv650
2006
