Hi lovely Explomers! We have been exploring 7 weeks non-stop lately during our summer holidays. We've visited several European countries and the places we explored were oh so fascinating. We can not wait to share all our adventures with you. From now on you can expect a new episode in Italy on every Saturday and an adventure in Belgium, France or Germany on each Wednesday. After our Italy Series we will be uploading our Portugal and Spain series, which was our favourite trip we ever did. If you are excited, smash that like button! :D
Best, Maureno & Remon, your Dutch friends of Explomo.

Maurino & Remon 1st this video is so majestic & I can see that at 1 time it was a grand place.1 bathroom had a double sink & 2 toilets another 1 the toilet almost looked like a sink.I love seeing the places over there because there is so much history & I love how in the beginning 1 of u always tell the history of the place.I just love it.2nd I can't wait for all these new videos to come out.I love seeing Italy because its the 1 place I have always wanted to go because my great uncle died at age 25 in WWII.he is still there & ever since reading his last letter ( he had not been home since joining he had 1 last mission then he was going home but he never made it) I'm from Vermont USA & not very many were allowed to join because Vermont is a farming state & the farmers were needed to provide food & milk.Vermont is also known for maple syrup & that was all he talked about.he wanted some maple syrup I always wanted to bring a small bottle to him but because of my health I no longer am able to make a trip like that

Nole E in the old days Dr's would use there homes as there office.so it's possible at 1 time a Dr lived here.as a child in a small town during the early 1970s- 1980s my 1st Dr was in a house.I will never forget walking from the waiting room to the exam room in between was a bathtub the Dr also had his meds in his office.so its possible this place might have medical equipment.

You guys are so awesome. My dad was an artist, and when he died, your exploration of this place was what I experienced with all his paints and art collections left behind. It brought tears to my eyes, but what made it more special was to see how much you enjoyed seeing this artist’s work, brushes, art, etc..Life is fragile isn’t it? Thank you for all these wonderful explorations. ❤️

great exploration, loved the painted flowers on the walls, so pretty. The dolls were from the end of the 1970's, early 1980's either holly hobbie or sarah kaye, i know this because i was mad about the dolls at that time

This house was definitely a real-time capsule the antiques were beautiful and surprisingly very well taken care of for this mansion to be deserted for so long. This house should be turned into a museum. Can't wait to see where you take me on your next adventure (our adventure), Love you guys

The paintings were magnificent and varied, the furniture was great, the workshop was amazing. It looked like the artist just got up from his table for lunch. Hi Maureno, Explomo, Thank you very much for sharing this really breathtakingly incredible experience with us. - Such a beautiful mansion
with so many incredible and still intact antiques, - a legit gem!! - My favourite room was this beautifully decorated salon with the grand piano,
where even a music note book was still left. - The painters studio with all the utensils and colour tubes and brushes of that famous
Belgian painter was out of this world! - Unbelievable, that no one is taking care of such an enormous heritage place of art historical significance.
So it was really quite sad to see the first traces of decay in this building. - After my opinion this whole mansion should be preserved as a museum
and opened to the public. Therefore I wonder what is giong to happen to all these paintings, which must be of an inexpressible value! - Hopefully
these renovations are going to be continued once in a while. - I am also very glad to see, that you did not slide into some kind of trouble, when
exploring and wonderfully documenting this place. - You did an absolutely valuable and great job, and I am looking very much forward to
your next videos. - I especially loved, how well you built up the excitement by beginning with the least interesting rooms and then proceeding
to the better ones until ending the video with the absolutely breathtaking highlights of that wonderful mansion. - I would even say, that also
your video is kind of a masterpiece. - Bravo! - Go on exploring safely and lots of blessings to you and Remon!
Peace and kindest regards from switzerland.

7:13 Scales to weigh a baby
15:22 Those are not arches, they are called columns.
22:16 The motion sensors seemed to be active. There was power in the control panel. I thought I saw a light on the sensors in one of the rooms.
This house does not seem abandoned to me. It is too clean, has a working alarm and renovations are slowly happening. I would call it unoccupied for now. I think you were taking a big risk going in there. You could have had trouble.

It breaks my heart, in most of these places, there are beautiful pianos that are being destroyed by time and the elements. When I was growing up, I wanted to take piano lessons. I was told no, we could not afford it (not true)! Finally, I took them for 3 months, then we moved, and never had them again! I never took dance or anything like that! But to this day, I love the piano!!!! TY for showing us these places!!!!

The paintings are wonderful and should be on a museum for all to enjoy! Even the quartz rocks need a place.the plaster work is lovely. The fireplace tapestry is gorgeous. I would love to have the vintage mannequin, the rug. Holly Hobbie style dolls. Beautiful golden gilt. It makes me want to paint again. Had a stroke and no more of that, but I do make jewelry. Hey Maureno, Erik here again 😊, mooi vid weer ! Keep going !! 🤙 Erik

Since there was a baby carriage as you call it in the US we call him baby cribs. My guess that the scale would be used to weigh the baby to make sure that he or she was gaining weight properly. My only other guess would be two way out things such as flour, corn, meats etc.

The red tubes and blue ones are for water (hot and cold) i think they are slowly renovating or maintain the water pipes inside the building.

I really liked seeing the artist's studio! Seeing the artist oil paint box reminded me of my old oil paint box. I want to take up oil painting again!

      S. Ray The artist’s studio was my favourite room as well. Only to imagine that all his tools and equipment he used to make these marvelous paintings were left behind, felt so unreal to me. One of my better finds :-)

@@Explomo The studio brushes and empty oil paint tubes reminded me of being lost in a painting. Being in the right side of your brain for hours on end is really a whole different experience. Probably a lot like exploring the wonders of abandonments! I am glad I was able to go back to when I first started painting and collect my old memories.🥰 Danke!

Wonderful mansion. I enjoy your video. Why is the house abandoned ?

    • @Explomo
      @Explomo  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Thank you! :-) The painter died and the house is not inhabited anymore ever since. The house is now a monumental property and serves as a storage for his artwork.
