Can you please organise a cupping session on TH-cam where interested coffee enthusiasts can first purchase coffee from your website and then we all can taste together on a live TH-cam session. This will give us a better understanding of how to perceive different tastes and textures in coffee. A similar thing was done by James Hoffman. This would be pretty interesting and help amateurs like me better dive deep into the intricate world of coffee tasting

Yes I'm in! Instead of focusing on the biggest tasting (like James Hoffmans), focus more on specific training for beginners

One of the best videos out there on training the palate. A lot of videos dive right into the five parameters but you guys start with the real basics. Bravo!

You asked about interest in coffee vocabulary.
I think tasting vocabulary would be useful.
For example, discuss vocabulary relating to each of the 5 main flavor categories (acidity, sweetness, body, etc).
In this video, you gave examples of vocab used to discuss body - does the coffee feel thin, tea like, heavy, mouth coating...
    Just these descriptions help!

Indias largest coffee tasting? Now ik that's like borrowing James's idea but James had all the international coffee and needing distilled water was a hassle too. I would love a coffee tasting which has different coffee samples from the roasters of the aramse subscription service would be so cool!

I love the quality of the content on this channel!
I've been trying to elevate my coffee game, but it's been hard trying to describe craft roasts and where my preferences lie. Definitely need to be more thoughtful and train my palette. Definitely would be interested in a video on the vocabulary we tend to find in this world!

Pure caffeine is very difficult to find and illegal in some places. Are there any alternatives to the bitter flavor testing?

  • @philindeblanc

I dont want to taste fruity orange, berry blah blah blah...I want the coffee to taste like FRESH coffee and hit those god-shots...but todays roasts or beans are NOT giving that. And I keep coming across people experiencing and saying the same thing. I may like those notes in other foods or drinks, but NOT in my espresso. I just want that chocolatey viscus and wonderful taste that makes you want to lick the cup. Thats it! I guess in 2024 that has become impossible? Great guide for someone who doesnt pay attention to their consumption.

  • @WeAreBullets
