Every BookTuber I'm subscribed to that has read the Frozen Fate series raves about it so much that it makes me nervous to read! My expectations are way up there and I've been on a DNF frenzy lately. I think I'm just going to go for it after I finish Heat Wave by Karina Halle.

Jessica, I added The Hollow Duet to my TBR a few weeks ago and have been saving it for October. So glad that you read it and loved it!
I completely understand putting off a series for a while because everybody seems to love it and your expectations are way up there. That happens to me a lot, which is why I don’t like popular books because they never live up to the hype for me. It’s OK to wait a little while before you jump into Pam’s books, they’re worth it though. I can’t wait to see what you think of the hollow duet!
My favorite read so far this week has been Born For Silk by Nicci Harris. This was my first read from her but I have seen her books recommended before so I will definitely check those out.
I read one of her books that you see everywhere a while back and I didn’t care for it but maybe I’ll try this one. She does deserve a second chance.

I tried reading that a couple of years ago before all the books were out and I just couldn’t get into it. I’ve tried several books by those authors and I think it’s the writing style that doesn’t work for me. The books aren’t bad. I just can’t get into the story. I don’t know what it is.
