Have you guys looked into getting a roof rack? I have one and then a canvas storage bag attached on top to the roof rails. Some people get the hard tops, but let me tell ya… it has been a game changer!! The extra space on the roof have been a lifesaver when moving, camping, etc. I never thought it would be much extra added space, but it’s a lot! Just wanted to mention it if it would be helpful to you both :) Great video as always!

So happy for you guys! The den tip is awesome. When we bought our house we really wanted 4 bedrooms ( my partner works from home and I have 2 kids) and all of the 4 beds were out of our price point. Ours is 3 beds plus a bonus room which is bigger than all the bedrooms and is a perfect office.

I've been lucky enough to travel to America several times. I love AZ, the landscape is like nothing I've ever seen before. Key West was so quirky and I loved it there.

I have moved a few times in my life, and I can tell you in the weeks leading up to my packing and getting ready, never once did I think about getting a facial, my nails done, or my hair cut (of course, I'm a dude, but still....) I think there's some real denial or procrastination or SOMETHING coming out in the girl we always thought was so diligent and prepared ahead of time! :)
In 2008, I moved from a 2600 square foot house to a 4200 square foot house. In general, the amount of crap you accumulate will fill whatever available space there is. I've considered moving, but the one thing that stops me cold is all the crap we'd have to either get rid of or pack up. So yeah, I'm down with the minimalism idea. ;-)
Congrats on getting your travel project started. There is nothing worse that the last 10% of a move. That's when you got everything packed but a few things in the bathroom, a few things in the kitchen, a bunch of cleaning things and you think, no worries I can pack that stuff up in no time and put it all in 1 box. You’re going to love it even more. I moved from Chicago to Franklin for my fiancés job, and I have never looked back since! 💖
So excited for you! I did a similar trip 4 years ago (internationally), and I still *vividly* remember the relief I felt when packing, moving, and everything else was finally done. It's a LOT of work to make a trip like that happen! One piece of advice: you mentioned at the end of the video that you wished you had booked 2 months in Nashville. I'd suggest booking refundable places (when you can), so if you get an urge to stay somewhere longer, you can! Flexibility is super valuable - for example, you never know when you might meet new friends who invite you to a concert the week after you're supposed to leave, or you might feel like you only explored part of the city and need more time!
I’m glad that you made the comment about how against drinking and driving you are. My cousin died in a drinking and driving accident. So I felt like I’m college I always had to be the responsible one and sometimes my friends were annoyed with me.
I think you guys are so cute. I live in Nashville and I am a rare Nashville native. I was just watching the news and thought about you. Kelsey Gibbs on channel 5 is amazing. I like both channel 5&4... welcome to our city. It's pretty kickA... Especially for young kids like you! Only setback is that it is very expensive to live here. Can't wait to see where you go next.

Make sure you check each Airbnb for bed bugs!!! I got them once from an Airbnb and I will NEVER not check the bed before I sleep on it. You can lift the mattress corners and look for little black dots. Make sure that you lift the fitted sheet and look at the exposed mattress. Congrats on your journey 💕

Yay for Nashville! Nashville is only 5 hours from me but I've only been once a couple of years ago. It was so much fun and definitely want to do again. Until then I'll live vicariously through your videos. And you are so right about the storms. I live in Conway right outside of Little Rock and we are getting slammed today. Never ending storms but I love it. 😊

Make sure you check each Airbnb for bed bugs!!! I got them once from an Airbnb and I will NEVER not check the bed before I sleep on it. You can lift the mattress corners and look for little black dots. Make sure that you lift the fitted sheet and look at the exposed mattress.
