This is a pretty smart move. Not only for your future also for growth. It's ok I guess to work in a cyber world but you end up isolating urself to the rest of the world...meaning inter personal connection from the outside world. I think you’re gonna love a smaller space. I have been in a couple different lofts over the years and love having less space to have to clean and lose things in. I’ve learned a couple things in my years of small space living that might help you or others so read on if you’re interested! -for under your bathroom sink you can get a shelf from target that adjusts to the right width of your space and accommodates pipes. It adds a lot of storage space and keeps me organized! -if you measure those cubbies under your bathroom sink on the right (make sure you have height width and depth), you can go to the container store and get some kind of drawer thing to keep your toothbrush and other stuff in (think a tiny acrylic dresser lol) - you’re on the right track with barstools, get ones with backs on them if you can and you won’t even miss a dining table, especially if you’re like me and you just eat on the couch lol -get some kind of shelving unit (mine is just an ikea one) for your coat/storage closet, they maximize your space so much! -lastly, try to minimize the amount of “stuff” you have as much as possible, I know you just downsized considerably so you’ve probably already done this, but even small things like using ALL your shampoo and recycling the bottle before starting a new one will keep the amount of “things” down. I also try to do a purge at the beginning of a new season to get rid of clothes because I’m often bringing in pieces little by little as I shop, it’s easy to look in your closet after two years and think “what the heck is this?” Enjoy Nashville and this exciting new stage in your life!

Some thought it was a green screen because they could sense that she was lying. It was a real room, but her reason for moving out of the big pink room to small blue one was half truth, and we sensed that. She did that all the time, half truths. She told us she moved out of the big pink room into the small blue so that her young sister could have a turn with the big room. Seemed very odd to us to give a young girl the big room, but later we learned her family moved house. We can surmise now that the little sister wanted a turn before the move out with the famous room her older sisters got. It's the half truth that upset people, disingenuous. Like when they said they were on the fence about moving to NYC or LA. It was always going to be LA, so why lie? Elle even tweeted something like, wow, you guys knew we were moving to LA before we did. And the nondisclosures that they were making commercials and being paid for it. But those days are over, it seems anyway. They can live off the millions we helped them make and with their dad's business knowledge their money and make money.

Not to say 18 year olds can’t or won’t be successful in school, but I find that I was more successful when I went back around 25-26 as opposed to fresh out of high school. I wanted it more so I worked harder

Welcome back to Tennessee! Excited to see what this next chapter brings to you. Seeing those views makes me miss living in Nashville so much. I lived out by Nippers Corner when I attended Vandy a few years back. That city has a way of stealing your heart for sure.
Google under cabinet /kitchen sink track storage. You often see them holding soaps and sponges and other cleaning stuff in kitchens and bathrooms but I bet they make options suitable for your “routine “ . I think they are mostly non attached as well. You just set up the track on a flat surface but it’s not affixed to the cabinetry or anything.
literally the best best advice I can give you for college, is not to procrastinate. Work on a project as soon as it is assigned, even if it's just for 30 minutes every day. I procrastinate A LOT, and it is not the best way of living. Also, I'm not from the US, so i don't know if this is only a US thing, but every time I see someone giving an empty apartment tour, the apartment always has a fridge, microwave, washer and dryer (when it's in unit).... that doesn't happen here. Appliances are not included (the stove doesn't count, and dishwashers aren't common).

Hey Blair! That’s a lovely place! I just moved into a small apartment as well, let me tell you what I did, maybe it’ll give you some inspiration :) - I hung a over-the-door coat hanger near the entry door for daily coats and handbags, the nook near the entryway has a storage Ottoman that I can sit on to put on shoes, some other daily shoes I can store underneath - I went with a smaller sofa and put my desk into the living took to separate my study and my sleep area. - the extra space in the bedroom I filled with some furniture to store stuff (I’m by no means a hoarder, my walk in closet, which is about 2/3 the size of yours, just ran out of storage real quick..). That’s mainly because I was too cheap to rent a storage unit and don’t have any relatives living nearby that I can store stuff with My container from overseas (am from Europe) landed in the harbor today, and after customs it’s supposed to be driven up here “within two weeks” - I didn’t know this was a common issue for concern, I’m hoping it’ll get here on time, haha... good luck to both of us!

If you cover the marble counters you won’t be able to put hot things out of the oven on it which you can do with straight marble counters, and if you use your stove top for that the glass will be ruined in a matter of weeks. I did the same exact thing to mine and it regretted it so much. Glass stoves need a lot of attention they’re very easy to ruin
The apartment layout is like a smaller compressed version of your old condo without the den and second bathroom. Can't wait to see it all furnished and decorated!
I love the giant windows! My apartment is pretty similar to yours. I would get one of those organizers for your sink for your everyday makeup. I got organizers for under the sink for all of my bathroom stuff and toiletries and then one of those over the toilet organizers as well for all of my skin and hair products! Please post lots of decoration ideas because I finally got all of my furniture together but I’m onto the decorations part! So excited for you Blair!
Can I just say this is the perfect size apartment for one person. I live in hk and we literally live in shoebox size apartments and they cost a fortune. So this is looking really big to me haha! But very happy for you Blair. Been watching since like 2008 and I’m here to stay

In the bathroom where the alcoves are in the vanity you could get a plastic bin with dividers so all your day to say stuff is seperated but you can also just take the whole bin out in the morning, using everything you need and slide it back into place. Also plastic containers come in real cute styles now haha. Can't wait to see how everything goes! :)

I still use your makeup brush holders and I have a makeup bag with my name embroidered on it, all from your online store lol. It’s so good to see you doing well and taking care of yourself! I went back to college when I was 25 to continue my education to be a teacher and I’m glad I did! Hey Blair! That’s a lovely place! I just moved into a small apartment as well, let me tell you what I did, maybe it’ll give you some inspiration :)
- I hung a over-the-door coat hanger near the entry door for daily coats and handbags, the nook near the entryway has a storage Ottoman that I can sit on to put on shoes, some other daily shoes I can store underneath
- I went with a smaller sofa and put my desk into the living took to separate my study and my sleep area.
- the extra space in the bedroom I filled with some furniture to store stuff (I’m by no means a hoarder, my walk in closet, which is about 2/3 the size of yours, just ran out of storage real quick..). That’s mainly because I was too cheap to rent a storage unit and don’t have any relatives living nearby that I can store stuff with
My container from overseas (am from Europe) landed in the harbor today, and after customs it’s supposed to be driven up here “within two weeks” - I didn’t know this was a common issue for concern, I’m hoping it’ll get here on time, haha... good luck to both of us!

As far as I can tell you don’t even need her name right now to find out where she lives.
If you cover the marble counters you won’t be able to put hot things out of the oven on it which you can do with straight marble counters, and if you use your stove top for that the glass will be ruined in a matter of weeks. I did the same exact thing to mine and it regretted it so much. Glass stoves need a lot of attention they’re very easy to ruin
The apartment layout is like a smaller compressed version of your old condo without the den and second bathroom. Can't wait to see it all furnished and decorated!

I love the giant windows! My apartment is pretty similar to yours. I would get one of those organizers for your sink for your everyday makeup. I got organizers for under the sink for all of my bathroom stuff and toiletries and then one of those over the toilet organizers as well for all of my skin and hair products! Please post lots of decoration ideas because I finally got all of my furniture together but I’m onto the decorations part! So excited for you Blair!
Can I just say this is the perfect size apartment for one person. I live in hk and we literally live in shoebox size apartments and they cost a fortune. So this is looking really big to me haha! But very happy for you Blair. Been watching since like 2008 and I’m here to stay

In the bathroom where the alcoves are in the vanity you could get a plastic bin with dividers so all your day to say stuff is seperated but you can also just take the whole bin out in the morning, using everything you need and slide it back into place. Also plastic containers come in real cute styles now haha. Can't wait to see how everything goes! :)

Blair! I’ve watched you since I was in high school and now I’m 30 and married. I still use your makeup brush holders and I have a makeup bag with my name embroidered on it, all from your online store lol. It’s so good to see you doing well and taking care of yourself! I always looked to you as inspiration cause I always loved how well rounded and disciplined you are with life. I went back to college when I was 25 to continue my education to be a teacher and I’m glad I did! College was one of the best experiences of my life and I’m glad I was a tad older cause it helped me be more successful academically. @@SNRview she's referring to her old place in California was to the nines compared to this apartment and probably cost twice as much at least so you'd think moving to a much much cheaper city her new place would be nicer look at her sisters page they moved into a brand new top of the like home vs there nice condo also in this sister's same building in LA, but these girls stopped doing TH-cam a few years ago so I'm sure there income took a hit

@@SNRview i wish i had youtubers money lol they dont have to punch a clock and spend 40 plus hours away from home. They make content from home. They have sponsors so they get a bunch of free stuff. Most live in lavish expensive apartments, drive lavish cars, and make it seem as if their life is normal when in fact its not even close. Plus followers brag and blow the youtubers heads up with compliments. Most youtubers i see are narcissistic

Love this apartment! Nashville is a beautiful place. A lot of my friends have moved there either for undergrad or grad school, or for job opportunities. Nash & Chatt seem to be the hotspots for people in their 20s-30s. So happy for you!
