Dividing that number to 216 magnets per single cube _(arranged in a pattern of 6x6x6 balls each)_ gives us 343 cubes total.
Not bad for doing a lot of math.

How did you count that many?
@cleocailing9516 each block of magnets is 216 magnets and they used 218 cubes (7³-5³) to make the structure. but 216×218 is 47,088 so they're both wrong
I love how it looks like random bunch of colours until the end.
Anyone else conflicted over this cube? The 4 sides that are in this beautiful pattern and are so soothed by, and then the other two sides that stress and frustrate because it is a jumbled mess of colour?

I have loads, and if you keep them in a container and not lying around, theres practically no way to lose them, and you can feel them under your feet, but you cant trip/slip on them.

holy crap you're right.
I'm not sure how you came to this conclusion, personally I thought like this: first take the top, which would be 6*7 by 6 by 6*7 ( the square it makes on the top is 6*7 by 6*7, the side is 6), which is 10584. I choose the bottom part the same, so top+ bottom is 10584*2= 21168. Now I can easily make the four remaining sides of equal size, by choosing a 5*6 by 6*6 by 6, which is 6480. Four times that is 25920. now add it to 21168 and that indeed makes 47088.
