i like the dimesions on the wrap-cut youre using vs 3m. the 3m finishing knifeless tape has the filament dead center, creating a slightly thicker lip.

What size wrap do I need for 20inch rimps
Problem i see is with the weights. If u wrap around them and change tires, theres no spot to stick new ones, cuz in most cases another tire will require then in different place.

Do you think apply self adhesive rhinestone rolls to a rim and putting a layer of clear vinyl wrap would hold it on the rim for a long period of time?
No, I don't think that would work. Vinyl needs a smooth surface to adhere properly, it would just peel up.
when you use the knife to cut arent you damaging the wheel finish behind it since youre cutting on it??
@3:10 I go over how I cut the vinyl using special tape instead of a knife
I have a roll of 3M White reflective wrap they make for license plates. I think I am going to wrap the inside hub only with a solid 64 inch piece. On these black ZL1 wheels, I'll try to film it ;) For a Camaro SS White pictured.

If it's plastidip, then you have to use a heat gun and peel it all off. If you want to make it black again, you'd have to repaint or re-plastidip it.

Will this survive a tire change?
Yes, but I had a friend do it and he knew to be careful. If you dont tell them and they treat it like any other tire change, it will damage the vinyl.

I wouldn't imagine that wrapped rims would last very long
there are some spots where I clearly made mistakes that started to peel up after a few months (first time doing this), but the spots that I did properly are still holding up today! (Over 2 years since making this video)
I also used a special ceramic coating made for vinyl, so I'm sure that helped
