3. Present perfect ( කරලා තියෙනවා )- S + has / have + verb (past participle ) [ I have seen you/ She has eaten rice ]
4. Perfect continuous ( කාලයක් තිස්සේ කරමින් ඉන්න දේවල් )- S +have / has been + verb ( ing ) [ I have been thinking for five years/ She has been crying for two hours]
5. Past tense ( යම් කිසි දෙයක් කලා/ සිද්ද උනා) -S+ past verb [ I ate / It died]
6. Past continuous ( යම් දෙයක් කර කර හිටියා )- S + was / were + verb ( ing ) [ I was eating rice/ We were eating rice]
7. Past perfect( කරලා තිබුනේ/ කරලා හිටියේ ) - S + had + verb ( past participle) [ I had eaten/ She had cooked ]
8. Past Perfect continuous (කාලයක් තිස්සේ කර කර ඉදලා තියනවා )- S +had been verb (ing) [ We had been working for ten years/ That girl had been crying for two hours]
9. Simple Future ( පස්සෙ කරන්නම් )- S+ will verb [ I will come/ Mother will blame]
10. Future continuous ( පස්සේ වෙලාවක කරකර ඉදියි ) -S+ will be verb ( ing) [ Grandmother will be cooking]
