- When we merge cells across columns, there's no default option/setting in Excel for automatically adjusting the row height & you have to use the mouse to drag & adjust the row height as required.
This video shows a trick to adjust the row height just by a click of the mouse when the cells are merged across multiple columns.
This trick will help you save a lot of time when preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Invoices, and in any instance where data is spread across multiple columns.
All in all, helping you Excel @ Work!

Well tips generally work. All the best.
Sir, is it possible to adjust the row height for rows not merged without a text in column AA or like that?
For adjusting row height of any row without merged cells, drag the boundary below the row heading until the row is the height that you want. Even better double click on the bottom boundary line of the corresponding row.
When i am trying doing it, the cell is just showing the formula in column Z not giving the result i.e. the text. I have also changed the format from text to general, still no result, not sure why
I am not able to find a solution in the absence of the Worksbook. Can you can send me the file. My alternate email id for this channel is dkk.spare@gmail.com
