Grocery Store Dumpster Diving! We Found Eggs, Vitamins, and More!

- What a great dive! We started the morning checking a dumpster that we don't typically go to.. and wow am I glad we did! Those eggs are expensive and we're thankful to not have to buy them for a few weeks! It looks like the store threw them away because a couple eggs were cracked and the yolk leaked through.. That or we also think these eggs could have been delivered to the wrong store, since we have never seen this particular store sell the Whole Foods brand before. Either way, it's incredibly wasteful to throw them all away!

Hey y'all. Those red Santa bags are actually covers that go over the back of chairs at dining room tables. Loved the video y'all.
Freeze the eggs in ice trays. After frozen, put in freezer bags. That way you can get out just what you need to cook. Nice score!
That long black and purple thing are for washing your back. The four reddish brown round things are for under furniture legs to keep from damaging your floors. The screen is a splatter screen for when your frying foods to cover the pan.
Great finds, check eggs to make sure they aren't bad. Place the eggs in large bowl of cold water and if they float they're bad.
Those things are actually back scrubbers so Alex was right. Lol great dive

Eggs will keep quite a long time in the fridge. Plus, you can scramble them and freeze. Yummy!

U should have taken all eggs, only because they may never be taken by anyone else. U can always freeze 3 eggs at a time in small zip lock. U crack them open, throw the shells in ur garden, and freeze the rest for future, cause u may not find anymore for awhile, and u know you’ll make use of them at least.
So nice to finally see dumpster divers leave stuff for other divers some I watch take everything don't think of anyone else
Great canvas haul. Those are super pricey to buy.
Alex you need to paint the larger canvas and paint some of the dumpster graffiti pics that you take it would be awesome
If your canvases are loose on the stretchers, some times if you heat it some with a hair dryer at the joints it will tighten it up. If they are purchased stretched from the store, they often come will little wooden pieces attached to the back of the frame. They get inserted around the joint areas to tighten up the stretch! Great find! They are so expensive any more!!
Ester C is amazing and pricey! I love the camo suitcase. Always leave suitcases outside for a day or 2 and spray them with bug spray to be safe from hotel bugs. Spray outside and inside, put in a big plastic bag with no air, and let the bug spray work on anything in case the suitcase touched the hotel room floor. Bed bug eggs r sticky apparently, and stick to suitcases.
You can freeze eggs by cracking them into ice trays and then putting them in baggys once you remove them from ice trays.

You could always freeze eggs you can doublemint a plastic bowl or double invest ziploc baggies and freezers so you always have eggs

@@Mharthcock79yes! Scramble them and then freeze. If you don’t scramble then the yolk doesn’t cook up the same. I freeze individual eggs in ice trays and then pop them out into a freezer bag, just take out as many as I need. Perfect for baking as well.

Those canvases are a great find. All someone would have to do is cover them with gesso and they’d be like new.

Those big red Santa hats are to place over the back of your dining room or kitchen chairs so your table looks festive also. I have around 6 of them and we put them on every year.

The Huge Santa Hat is to go on the back of a Chair with the triangle & ball hanging over the back to hold it on the chair.. Usually upright wooden dining or kitchen chairs.. ~ The long strips with handles are BACK SCRUBBERS.. the lumpy side is for Exfoliating (removing dead skin).. They are wonderful if you don't have anyone to scrub your back for you..

I've just begun dumpster diving myself, and literally have filled my freezer up with around 4-5kg of meat, from chicken breasts, to ground beef! Crazy what people throw out!
The Round thing with a screen. Is for going over your fry pan. To keep the grease from going all over the place.

Glad Alex finally figured out that it was a back scrubber. If you grab one end and put your hand up over same shoulder with scrubber hanging down behind your back, then grab the other loop behind your waist on opposite side of your body with the other hand. So it will be diagonal. It works very well for most people who can't reach to wash their entire back.
U should have taken the poles. Great for knocking broken branches off trees, or tying or taping branch cutters to 2 of them and chop high branches. Those were strong ones too. The ladder was great for something too. It was in great shape.
Those poles are a set of professional tree trimmer it's a pole saw the poles lock together and there is a head pease that has a saw on it.
There was a big rope in the dumpster with the poles I bet that someone forgot to pick it up and put it on the truck and someone else put it in the dumpster.
A little wood glue tightens those wooden pegs for the coat rack, but better yet, you could have made a wall coat rack instead without the bottom. Long pegs hold so many extra items too. U have to be creative sometimes to figure out good uses. Even in the garage you could have hung several items on one peg, like brooms, snow shovels, tools.
The little wooden things are to put under furniture to move it without scratching the floor.
The big red hats are for the backs of chairs and the long things are back washers
The red round things are to go under chair, couch or desk legs to protect the floors. The big screen is to go over fry pans to keep the fat from drying out.

You would think that Natural Grocers would recycle their cardboard 😢 great finds!
In all fairness a lot of those looked like waxed produce boxes to prevent the cardboard from getting soggy(I worked as a floral designer for awhile and we had very similar boxes for evergreen foliage) and they cannot be recycled.
@usandthelittlebluebus lol to go a step further, you would think the organic produce suppliers would use packaging that is reusable or recyclable... because those do look like fancy boxes, the waxed kind that can't be recycled but not good enough to reuse either, which is too bad.

Being that I am a bride to be, I recently watched a diy tutorial on wedding Centrepieces using the ring from a kitchen splatter guard. It was pretty cool how it turned out, so if anything donate it. Dollar stores may sell out quickly if several brides are making them. Great finds guys! I laughed so hard when Alex pretended to wash his back with the oversized loofa scrubbie!

Great dive! A suggestion for making sure all the eggs get used - cook-up scrambled eggs ( with additions like green onions, sautéed peppers and grated cheese or just plain, however you like them), then freeze them in individual serving sizes. Easy to reheat in the microwave after thawing. And Bones is a sweetheart. ❤❤❤

I also have the birthday cake version from $tree, the candles stick up at the top of the chair... For Santa's hat his white pom flops over the back of the chair. Hope u see this and try it out if u have the right kind of chair, some chair backs are too large but it should fit somewhere...

Hey, if you want to know if eggs are good! Use a bowl of cool water covering the eggs and lay them in the bowl, if they sink their good, if they float, get rid of them ASAP!!!
That Psyllium Husk can be used to add fibre to your diet like Metamucil, but it is also used by people on the Ketogenic diet. We add it to many of our recipes as a binding agent. A little goes a long way.

Check the eggs get a big bowl of water put eggs in if floating to the top there no good check because you can get very sick!Great dive guys!!

I love eggs and eat them everyday. I make a lot of hard boiled eggs. But my favorite is egg bite mini quiches. I bake them in cupcake tins and freeze the egg bites to eat throughout the week for a quick high protein breakfast.
My sisters has chickens, and swears by freezing eggs, though I haven't tried it. She whisks all the eggs together and puts them in plastic coffee creamer containers (coffee mate bottles she's washed thoroughly) and then she thaws the container in the fridge to grab for an easy way to make scrambled eggs, omelets, etc.
