Dominoes Copenhagen - Metropolis Festival 2013

DOMINOES by Station House Opera opened Metropolis Festival 2013 with 7000 breeze blocks falling through the city on a 3 km route.
The domino blocks travel through Amager, cross the canal and continue through the city through major streets, through hidden alleyways and through well-known buildings such as The National Museum, Copenhagen Cathedral and the Town Hall.
This short film includes footage from the pre-film recorded on Amager and the live-event 1 August 2013 in inner Copenhagen.

It's breeze blocks - so aerated concrete. Each block weighs around 8 kilo.
