It is not only pain resistance, it is also immortality. He got shot like 10 bullets in his mouth, was able to stand after both of his knees were shot twice, and still alive after a large finger literally penetrated his brain. Probably neck was broken as well after so many punches. Not talking about real people, but even in Baki universe this were lethal damages a season ago.
