@@teaspyllz3936 It wasn't actually cannon, someone who's job it was to edit wikis and they were outside of the aurthor/ghost writers said it was true and edited there wiki pages but the original writer later went on to say no they weren't and de-confirm a lot of others things that person said.

The fact that this map isnt like one of those scary, bloody, heckish halloween maps and its more like a spooky, child friendly (sorta) map makes this one of my favorites
WHERE DO I EVEN START!? The story board itself has quality enough to be it's own piece in a museum and the passion and love that you put into everything from the art direction to designs and boards really got to everyone's hearts!! EACH PART WAS EXECUTED FLAWLESSLY AND THE TRANSITIONS AND COLLABED WORK TURNED OUT INCREDIBLE AND I JUST ADORE THIS BEYOND WORDS!! and combining all these amazing maps into a marathon will forever be among my best memories made in this fandom!!

If Mapleshade is there since her name does start with maple she probably teaches kids that wander out into the forest how maple syrup is made then they become friends with Mapleshade forever

I’m sorry- but this is incredible. There wasn’t a single part that wasn’t completely amazing. All the animation was so smooth, and it all fitted together so well. I can’t get over this- you’re all like Hawkfrost, reject walking, fly instead.
OMG 😭😭😭😭 WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN!! Ever since the map call I have been so freaking excited for this map!! I've been following all the parts through your playist and have followed literally all the artists and animators if I hadn't already! I love the small bit with Ashfur, because even though it’s short, you can tell it’s him because 1, his eyes flash blue for a millisecond, and he’s a creep who watches you

@@madokazzzsilly Both this and the you cant hide map are different than how the dark forest actually looked. Its not full of monster with no eyes or cats casually bleeding from their mouth and finding normal. Now this one is more cartoonish, in my opinion I prefer to see a good side of the dark forest, as dumb as it may sound.
@@cosmox1x you could make a case for hawkfrost?? all things hawkfrost has done to break the warrior code(off the top of my head): -murder (could count as attempted since firestar was able to come back alive) -lying to his entire clan -manipulation (idk if this counts) -meeting in secret with another warrior from another clan -planning to take over other clans (dunno if this is in the warrior code, but it seems evil enough) the only redeeming factor that hawkfrost is that he completed the prophecy in arc 2

I love that we see most of the crew here; Snowtuft, Hawkfrost, Tigerstar, Mapleshade, Thistleclaw, Antpelt, Darkstripe, Brokenstar, and while it's cool to see so many original character cats, kinda wish Ashfur was here, unless he was the shadow on the moon "filling your dreams to the brim with fright" sounds about right for him. And he had blue eyes so it could either be Hawkfrost OR Ashfur which I like.
@@goodday2826 ahhh spoilers below please do not read any further if you havent read Broken Code, now to answer Good Days question . . . . . . . . . . . Ashfur did go to Starclan upon his death, and lied to gain entrance. He took a neutral stance until he gained an opportunity to posess Bramblestars body when he was inbetween lives. Currently he is no longer in Brambles body as of most recent Broken Code, but is still a free wandering spirit in the Dark Forest and living world. So technically yes he could be in this AU, but I dont believe he is bc his current position is just so wierd?
@@Sugarsugarkittycat batear from my research was never actually a character, more a name given to a random dark forest cats. Which really sucks cause i love his character design. He got removed from the wiki for not being canon, this happened when they removed most cats in the dark forest as they weren't cannon residents e.g ripplestar, tangleburr, deerfoot amd stumpytail

I love the sign to beware One Eye, since I would assume that he would be the first cat to enter the Dark Forest. And Tigerstar being a king and Mapleshade being a witch seems like the most fitting thing that could have happened to them.
the quality of the animation was one thing, but another thing i realized after rewatching it numerous times is how much character these cats have. i love all the little details like spider cat and two-faced cat getting married, brokenstar reading a bedtime story for the shadows and using them to cheat in a card game, black and white cat getting beat up by the small cat with a leaf on its head, and so on and so forth. placing so much character in these df cats i couldnt recognize in these 5 minutes is insane with the little screen time each cat got. absolutely amazing!!
I absolutely love how rowdy they are, they fight, but in a strange way they get along with one another. It would be cute if they weren’t all such terrible cats. XD One if my favorite scenes is the throwing of claws to the captive cat on the wheel, that is so something they would do for fun. Overall this is just an amazing map, and I could go on for days about everything I loved.
The cat captive on the wheel is Antpelt (if you don’t know who that is he died twice, both times in the dark forest, the first time he got badly injured by Thistleclaw while training in the dark forest in his dreams and died of his injuries later on, the second time he died, Ivypool was forced to kill him by the other dark forest cats.
This is BY FAR my favorite warrior cats map. Not only does the song fit the feel of the dark forest amazingly, but all the animators did an AMAZING job! I can’t stop clicking replay! Good job to everyone.
I am not joking - this is the best warriors map EVER. I've been in this fandom since 2014, I've seen thousands of art and animations yet THIS is the best one. One of the songs from my FAVOURITE movie mixed with MY FAVOURITE book series. Congratulations for creating a memory for me.
okay commenting again because i wanted to say. oh my god. this map blew me away. every single part is absurdly high quality and the way everyone came together to push to get this done was really cool to see too! you've got some parts that are collabs between like, six people, and that's just insane. AND manch has done an amazing job putting the whole thing together! i wish i could've done more for this map but i'm just happy to have been there at all :'D it's gonna be amazing!

*The fandom when the Dark Forest is introduced:* oh this.....this is beautiful. *The fandom when StarClan is introduced and "fleshed out":* wow...this is worthless.
The Dark Forest is just more interesting because of its dramatic and foreboding qualities, kind of like a good villain. Whereas Starclan isn’t given much of a description that gives us a sense of a wide, glorious afterlife of magic and wonder or anything like that. There’s nothing wrong with Starclan.
@@wildsharday9652 I mean Starclan are kinda messed up. They've done a lot of terrible things. Examples: Denied Nightstar his 9 lives. Urged a father to kill his kit. Gave Tigerstar his 9 lives. Blamed both Squirrelflight and Leafpool for the things they told them to do. Cursed Goosefeather. Whether they are bad or not they've made a lot of mistakes.
2:31 one’eye’s sassy little tail flick is the best But tbh this whole map is amazing! I love all the art styles and it combines my two favorite things warrior cats, and the nightmare before Christmas.
One of the best maps I’ve ever seen, next to I’m ready, poor George, and five giants. It’s so fun and so different from any other warriors map. Every personality given to each character is insanely spot on and perfect. Absolutely outstanding. This is already a masterpiece and gem of a map in the warriors community that will be acclaimed throughout the history of this fandom. Well done indeed ❤️
In all my years I've never seen not only such a smooth map, but such a unique one! Every scene caught my attention immediately, and I can't honestly say I could think of a favorite. I stopped reading warriors long ago, but I'll be damned if that kept me from seeing this masterpiece. Very well done everyone!

This is hands down the best MAP I have ever seen. Yes, this includes Five Giants. I cannot put into words how much I love this. Everyone did such an amazing job! The expressiveness and fluidity of each piece is top-notch, and all the collabs and transitions between parts are a massive cherry on top of the most delicious bowl of ice cream. I just LOVE seeing how everyone is gonna celebrate the day of Halloween, and this is just one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen! Everyone did such an awesome job on their map parts, and someday I want to make a Wings of Fire version of this.
This was, is and always will be my favorite Warriors map EVER. The designs, the animations, the music...I love everything about it. I've watched it numerous times and each time it amazes me the same way it did when I saw it for the first time
O my god when i saw maple ‘ shade.. whoever did maple ‘ shade at 1:24 won my heart fr. She is one of my favourite characters in the series and they did her justice from that art

Я до сих пор помню, когда два года назад впервые посмотрела это видео. И я была так довольна после просмотра, что даже пересматривала по несколько раз и продолжала вдохновляться. Столько труда было внесено в этот МАП, столько всего, это не передать словами. И вот, спустя такое долгое время, я снова нахожу это видео, и снова пересматриваю. Теперь даже замечаю больше моментов и прочего. Постарались не только те, кто делал части, но и сам хост этого мапа сильно постарался. Мне нравится.❤ Кстати, момент, где показана гора костей, а потом лапа Кленовницы, лицо одного кота в горе такое типа : 😐😑 Хаха.
Just a random thing: in English, i guess, you can understand Brokenstar/tail as "a star/tail that is broken" (with the "star" meaning like code or leader, maybe) and in Russian his name is translated in such a way that it means "the one who breaks the stars/tails" (with the similar meaning of the "star"). So yeah, he crushes that little star at 1:30. Really like this MAP

I cannot express how much I love this MAP, all the characters, the animation, the designs, it gives simple characters in books a chance to shine and be somewhere in the fandom, everything here gives everyone a special personality, Mapleshade as a witch is genius, since most witches are mischievous and evil, while others are misunderstood, this is so good, you and every other animator deserves a lot of support!
I have to comment on this video. I haven’t read a warriors book since I was a kid, I was super into all the old animations made by other kids back in 2009. I haven’t kept up with the books or the fandom, but what you and all these artists have created today brought tears to my eyes. Really incredible!! I would have never imagined how far and how long this book series would inspire other artists! You’re all going amazing places, thanks for this!
Without a doubt one of the best warriors maps ive ever seen! The pacing is PERFECT and every part flows so incredibly well, the art styles are so at balance and consistency that this feels as if it was made by a single person! Every single participant did a FANTASTIC job!
This project turned out ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! The credits assets I did were so much fun to make, thank you so much for your incredible direction skills and design making! Every single participant’s parts turned out gorgeous, I’m so impressed and inspired by everyone here and HAPPY HALLOWEEN too!!
1:40-1:53 are amazing, and is quite literally one of my favorite parts of the song, as a huge warriors and nightmare before Christmas fan, I LOVE this whole animation, keep it up, people!

When you realize any of the animators on this are so good they could start their own show or something This looks amazing! Everyone’s parts are fantastic! My favorite part is every time I see the two-headed cat (don’t know the name), it looks really satisfying. I also loved every time HawkFrost is up as well 😍😍

Out of curiosity, is there a list of character designs/ appearance in order :0? I love how hawk frost looks in this though, he’s so fluid and fun…. A floaty man! I also adore the one eye and their movements character n long character (I believe darkstripe, right?) this map is overall literally one of the best I’ve seen in awhile, great job everyone! The story board itself has quality enough to be it's own piece in a museum and the passion and love that you put into everything from the art direction to designs and boards really got to everyone's hearts!! Its not full of monster with no eyes or cats casually bleeding from their mouth and finding normal. Now this one is more cartoonish, in my opinion I prefer to see a good side of the dark forest, as dumb as it may sound.

-planning to take over other clans (dunno if this is in the warrior code, but it seems evil enough)
the only redeeming factor that hawkfrost is that he completed the prophecy in arc 2

I love that we see most of the crew here; Snowtuft, Hawkfrost, Tigerstar, Mapleshade, Thistleclaw, Antpelt, Darkstripe, Brokenstar, and while it's cool to see so many original character cats, kinda wish Ashfur was here, unless he was the shadow on the moon "filling your dreams to the brim with fright" sounds about right for him. And he had blue eyes so it could either be Hawkfrost OR Ashfur which I like.

Ashfur did go to Starclan upon his death, and lied to gain entrance. He took a neutral stance until he gained an opportunity to posess Bramblestars body when he was inbetween lives. Currently he is no longer in Brambles body as of most recent Broken Code, but is still a free wandering spirit in the Dark Forest and living world. So technically yes he could be in this AU, but I dont believe he is bc his current position is just so wierd?
I believe because the shadow in the moon has blue eyes, and the moon is seen as apart of starclan, i think it is Ashfur

He got removed from the wiki for not being canon, this happened when they removed most cats in the dark forest as they weren't cannon residents e.g ripplestar, tangleburr, deerfoot amd stumpytail

I love the sign to beware One Eye, since I would assume that he would be the first cat to enter the Dark Forest. And Tigerstar being a king and Mapleshade being a witch seems like the most fitting thing that could have happened to them.

the quality of the animation was one thing, but another thing i realized after rewatching it numerous times is how much character these cats have. i love all the little details like spider cat and two-faced cat getting married, brokenstar reading a bedtime story for the shadows and using them to cheat in a card game, black and white cat getting beat up by the small cat with a leaf on its head, and so on and so forth. placing so much character in these df cats i couldnt recognize in these 5 minutes is insane with the little screen time each cat got. absolutely amazing!!

I absolutely love how rowdy they are, they fight, but in a strange way they get along with one another. It would be cute if they weren’t all such terrible cats. XD One if my favorite scenes is the throwing of claws to the captive cat on the wheel, that is so something they would do for fun. Overall this is just an amazing map, and I could go on for days about everything I loved.
The cat captive on the wheel is Antpelt (if you don’t know who that is he died twice, both times in the dark forest, the first time he got badly injured by Thistleclaw while training in the dark forest in his dreams and died of his injuries later on, the second time he died, Ivypool was forced to kill him by the other dark forest cats.

The Dark Forest is just more interesting because of its dramatic and foreboding qualities, kind of like a good villain. Whereas Starclan isn’t given much of a description that gives us a sense of a wide, glorious afterlife of magic and wonder or anything like that. There’s nothing wrong with Starclan.

Blamed both Squirrelflight and Leafpool for the things they told them to do. Cursed Goosefeather. Whether they are bad or not they've made a lot of mistakes.
I'm not into Warrior Cats at all, but this is poggers and probably the best MAP I've ever seen.

Every personality given to each character is insanely spot on and perfect. Absolutely outstanding. I just LOVE seeing how everyone is gonna celebrate the day of Halloween, and this is just one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen! Everyone did such an awesome job on their map parts, and someday I want to make a Wings of Fire version of this.

I can't wait for this map to be pure nostalgia...This is an actual warrior cats movie i've never seen
This was, is and always will be my favorite Warriors map EVER. The designs, the animations, the music...I love everything about it. I've watched it numerous times and each time it amazes me the same way it did when I saw it for the first time

O my god when i saw maple ‘ shade.. whoever did maple ‘ shade at 1:24 won my heart fr. She is one of my favourite characters in the series and they did her justice from that art
i cannot explain how much joy this map brings me whenever i rewatch it, its absolutely stunning and gorgeous! every animator did incredible and they all seriously look so detailed! all the character designs look magnificent, especially love mapleshade’s design!! this map probably one of the best maps ive watched over the past years. love everything about this!!
I just wanna say that, while I’m not really a part of the Warriors fandom, this map might just draw me into it. All the parts I’ve seen so far are amazing beyond words, and I’ve been so excited for the final product. Incredible job everyone, and happy Halloween!

Я до сих пор помню, когда два года назад впервые посмотрела это видео. И я была так довольна после просмотра, что даже пересматривала по несколько раз и продолжала вдохновляться. Столько труда было внесено в этот МАП, столько всего, это не передать словами.
И вот, спустя такое долгое время, я снова нахожу это видео, и снова пересматриваю. Теперь даже замечаю больше моментов и прочего. Постарались не только те, кто делал части, но и сам хост этого мапа сильно постарался. Мне нравится.❤

Just a random thing: in English, i guess, you can understand Brokenstar/tail as "a star/tail that is broken" (with the "star" meaning like code or leader, maybe) and in Russian his name is translated in such a way that it means "the one who breaks the stars/tails" (with the similar meaning of the "star"). So yeah, he crushes that little star at 1:30. Really like this MAP

I cannot express how much I love this MAP, all the characters, the animation, the designs, it gives simple characters in books a chance to shine and be somewhere in the fandom, everything here gives everyone a special personality, Mapleshade as a witch is genius, since most witches are mischievous and evil, while others are misunderstood, this is so good, you and every other animator deserves a lot of support!

I have to comment on this video. I haven’t read a warriors book since I was a kid, I was super into all the old animations made by other kids back in 2009. I haven’t kept up with the books or the fandom, but what you and all these artists have created today brought tears to my eyes. Really incredible!! I would have never imagined how far and how long this book series would inspire other artists! You’re all going amazing places, thanks for this!

Without a doubt one of the best warriors maps ive ever seen! The pacing is PERFECT and every part flows so incredibly well, the art styles are so at balance and consistency that this feels as if it was made by a single person! Every single participant did a FANTASTIC job!

I love how hawk frost looks in this though, he’s so fluid and fun…. A floaty man! I also adore the one eye and their movements character n long character (I believe darkstripe, right?) this map is overall literally one of the best I’ve seen in awhile, great job everyone! Ivy at the end is also a treat
