You'll love North and South. It's amazing. Not only is the story fantastic with a good balance between the serious story of the workers/millowners and the romance but the music is adorable, setting perfect and acting simply divine especially in the form of Richard Armitage. Be prepared to fall in love with him.
Beautiful and yes, sad. I get so caught up in my Guy addiction, I sometimes forget how wonderfully sublime RA was as Mr. Thornton. His beautiful, expressive face...

lovely, lovely... it's amazing that the way you've focused in on Thornton, it peeled his "master" facade completely away. what's left is his fragile vulnerability. it makes me see him in yet another light. I'm just amazed how intense this story is, how well it was adapted, and how good the actors are. why did the bbc think that this wouldn't be well-received?

Excellent video. Music was appropriately haunting. Loved the way you had overlapping images and dialogue: really intensified the mood.
The piece at the very end is "One More Day" by Vast. It sounded so nice that I had to go look for it.
