Play them to the side, and stand still while they dribble BACK into you. They get frustrated because all they can do is drive. If you're on a bad team, those point guards will get their points on fast breaks. But that's the only way they can score when I guard them. Point guard in 2K 24 are trash builds. All they can do is shoot. No defense, no passing accuracy. You really want to shut down a point guard in squad REC? TOO EASY, just play a 3 across, 2 box zone and just take a point guard out the game entirely. By the way; you want to beat a 2 - 3 zone? Play a triangle offense, and shred that 💩 defense.
As a pg your right most of the guys I face even guys that are so called “good” left right left right spam the Jamal Murray behind the back about 5-10 times in one possession then just pray on animations putting u behind them for blinders shots or screens getting them open
