You're very right, so that's why, for me, as someone who really likes to run plays, I want to have counters on counters on counters. I *want* that opponent to recognize an action so that way I can do something different off of it. It's not easy to do, but being aware of what your action is supposed to do *and* the various counters to it is essential!
