yk it’s crazy. the community is 50% of the problem with 2k. this 2k more than the previous ones thrives off realistic basketball play and ball movement. the players just look for left right play on screens and glitchy post iso to compensate for ZERO basketball IQ. if we filtered out 2k to be only for hoopers, the game would be FUN despite the problems with it. I feel like inside centers don’t understand how stressful it can be playing with them in randoms rec. any big with a brain will just sit paint and now you take away an entire half of the half court offense. Like im not saying it’s impossible but with randoms? You got a lotta guys who make there builds around slashing. Who can shoot, but they are one of those left right high behind screens builds. Just like how they were back rooting in this game because the center can shoot, it spreads the floor. It forces everyone to start running around trying to and get off a 3, when the defense knows all they gotta do is stop the 3.

I learned how to stop back doors, you have to move when the other players moves. You have to be a step ahead. If he is even with you when the pass is thrown, your cooked. Cannot ball watch, very hard is they have really good pass accuracy.

Yo Jerz that happens to me all the time when I'm in rec and Im on my PF one of the guards will be getting back doored and my dude is a shooter. I usually just do a full switch from then on and most of the time it changes the momentum of the whole game because the advantage switches.
