I am 71 I am still looking for that “somewhere else” although life gets in the way sometimes. I am so proud of you listening to your voice and heart…as always you inspire…🌻
"the gray rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them--a far green country under a swift sunrise."
You said that so well, I'm 77 and I still haven't found my "somewhere else" but I too am close. Annabele's soft spoken pure words just hold me captive. I've learned so much from this young woman...so grateful for her sharing glimpses of her life with us.
I am glad to see you stay on the Pacific coast for a bit longer. I admit for a while I had a great deal of envy. I live in Northern-Central California and because of the drought everything has been very dead for a very long time. And I ache at all the green in your videos. But you were a factor in inspiring me to go hiking, to leave my own little rural farm town and find those wild places that are green anyway and its caused me to learn so much. I don't always love where I am - despite having lived here for my whole life - but I am learning to see the things I miss. The life in all the dry, golden savannah grass.
If only I was 23 again...and some of my choices would have been different. But it is what it is. And I think its lovely that, a very young age, you are able to reflect on the purpose of your life. With such immense beauty. 💜💜💜💜
I can't even begin to explain how beautiful this video is. The cinematics, the message, everything. Every time I open one of your videos, Annabel, it's like I'm watching a movie. Everything in them is done with so much love and care and I can't help but to slow down, and enjoy your vlogs with a nice cup of tea. Thank you so much for having this nook for us where we can sit down and enjoy life with you.
I really miss Washington state so much. I've lived there for half a year till my ex broke up with me and I had to go back to the Netherlands. The mountains, rainforests and old growths mesmerized me and seeing this footage makes me longing back to the times I roamed the mountains and forests of the PNW too. Seattle is cute, but it's the Olympics and the cascades that did it for me. When you live in Seattle, Cougar mountain is a great place to head to the forest if you just wanna pay a quick visit and to be out of the city. Coalcreekfalls there are gorgeous. The hall of mosses in the hoh-rainforest is absolutely a must see before you leave. That place is magic :)
The mountains of TN... Appalachia is full of magic and stories. The land is beautiful, with mountains, waterfalls, streams, and wild life. My favorite place to be.
Your videos on this channel are so wonderful Annie. The past few days my 2 year old was so wiggly at nap time nothing helped calm her mind. I use some of the songs from your videos to help her calm and sleep but that didn’t work so I turned on one of your videos this time to see if hearing your voice and seeing the beautiful shots of the mountains and forests would help. She calmed right down and eventually fell asleep. The same happened today and she was so happy when I said you had a new video up. Thank you so much for such beautiful videos it is exactly what we need in our busy lives. 💜
We moved to the PNW (Gig Harbor) about 11 months ago and for us, it is "the place". My one disappointment is that I haven't been able to find anywhere peaceful and quiet that I feel safe. You're very lucky to have the island and some solitude there; places that I've been able to find are either very populated (not good for the "woo-woo stuff" or even just reflection) or they're known for things like car break-ins if you don't have line-of-sight to your vehicle. Locals are not super happy to share the 'secret' spots and so much of the waterfront is private property/gated. I miss having a safe, quiet space in nature.
I am 71 years young and I must say little dove you are so loved by thousands literally and you have the numbers to show it ,I've followed you since before you left Virginia, it's so wonderful to see how you're channels have grown I'm very happy for you , I know this video was a while ago but I just thought I would drop a little note here , your forest is stunning we live in the southern Oregon area for 27 years in the mountains there ,we're in ohio now, you know the grand child of our only daughter is here, so the move here was a must, no regrets because you can never get the years lost back ,we would have missed so much of his life and that was an option we were not willing to loose what a blessing he is everyday , do you believe in the forest people? Sasquatch when your walking around I see lots of signs ,I can , tell there mostly kind and very aware of positive and loving souls like yours there's good and not so good one's just be aware always carry some sort of protection for big cats or whatever, no fear ,anyways I'll go and keep looking for your post ,thank you Annabelle Margaret for the beauty you share with us 🤗🌲🍁☘🍂👣👣 love is the key, always 💞
Your cinematography is so beautiful. Thank you for continuing to share your journey, you inspire others in ways you may not have imagined. I’ve been inspired by your work/craft to find my own vision in photography and blend it together with my personal journey as an artist coping with PTSD. It’s obvious you are passionate about what you do and that’s so damn rare these days, it’s a blessing to see another soul shine bright in love and inspiration. ✨
I teared up when I heard your mother say she was proud of you 😭 I'm 24, and my mother never said anything like that - though I've accomplished quite a lot in my life. I'm so happy for you Annie 😭♥️
That feeling is the ending of homesickness, and the beginning of home.💜 It happens anywhere you establish yourself. Just remember, if you really do want to eventually leave, don't let your roots get too deep.
Get some placemats. They have them at the Dollar Store. Take them out when you need them - a lot less wear and tear on the furniture. Great video - thanks.
Aloha from Oregon! I'm glad you're enjoying your time in the PNW. I was blown away to learn you're only 22, such a kind and gentle soul - from what I see through your videos. I just wanted to say, thank you for your inspiring content! Also, 23 was one of my favorite years of life, thus far, and I hope you enjoy yours! ❤
Dearest Annie I so love your channels you have enthralled and enchanted me ...with your tinctures and salves etc ...your journey is such a blessing to watch ..i am a hedge witch and make a lot of potions/extractions etc ..i have a little book with your tips in ,plus your baking as well as the 🥞🍂🌿 The cinematics in your videos are amazing and are a virtual feast.. Congratulations on your TH-cam subscribers... Thank you so much for sharing ...keep growing gracious young lady 🙏🙌🥰
I absolutely love watching you! You bring so much joy, peace, and hope to my life. Your presence and voice is so very grounding and needed in my life. So for that I thank you and appreciate you so much!
You live in a stunning area as is, but there is nothing quite like finding that place that just speaks to you - that place that you can call home with that right feeling in your heart and mind. Maybe you should travel on holiday to Norway and Sweden, discover your ancestral home and find your roots. Denmark is a lovely place too (being a Dane myself) but not nearly as wild as the rest of Scandinavia.
Your personal peace and a place of belonging when you feel it. The fleeting things of the future cannot be predicted , only be dealt with at the moment at that time. Whatever you feel to belong is more rare than most people dont truly understand and try find something in the material of cities. But thats never truly the case.
Lorena McKennett, "Mummers Dance" might fit background music. 😂😂😂 Very nice lady from what I've understood. If you really love the place, hold on until your migratory compass points too. I understand totally! Where there's a place that has a magnetism about it but your mental, spiritual compass hasn't honed in. But you know where you should be when you're there. Am I mistaken or is I correct? We have intuitive nature that tells us what we should do. I trust mine, it's never lied. Times I did yield, I paid. Which, have a good one. Fishing sure looks promising.
Congratulations on getting to 100,000 followers. I have followed your channel for a number of years and love your videos. You are very talented with your videos and capturing the beauty of nature. I am glad you have found your passion and can continue to share, grow and inspire others.
Annabel, from one twenty-something to another, I love watching your journey as you discover who you are and where you're meant to be. While I have moved a few times in my life, and love the spot I am in now, I also feel that I haven't found my "place" yet, but I will find it someday. Until then, enjoy the wonder and solace of wherever you are now because every phase comes to an end. Thanks for you awesome videos :)
I had no idea you were only 22! You look very wise. I'm about to turn 22 and this gives me hope for growth, work, and change in the next year. I feel a version of that same energy mounting in me anyway.
Have you thought about the Spokane area? It’s surrounded by the falls, the rive, orchards lakes and the great outdoors. Waikiki Springs is a lush area that I just discovered that I can’t wait to explore.. Down the road a bit and you have Idaho and it’s absolutely breathtaking. The mountains are so majestic and inviting with open space, lakes, rivers and streams. I moved from Seattle nine years ago and have no regrets. You would like it here. Just a place to perhaps consider!
I live in the Netherlands and although we don't have lots of nature left I have the opportunity go into the forest none the less. I do however feel trapped in the modern world and it feels detached from home. Nature. I do realise I need it to live but deep down it's not what I want. Your videos are amazing
At 72 I admire so much what you have done. In my next life I too will have those adventures. I thought I had my life planned and it went another way. Am not complaining, I am blessed and Happy where I am now. Thank you for sharing.
Dear Annabel, You are so deserving of your second TH-cam Award! Congratulations and thank you for sharing. I didn’t realize you are so young! You have an old soul ( like my young adult also). Lovely to hear you speak of your reasons to stay on for a time still. Your home here is very special indeed. The surrounding nature near by, I think I recognize roughly ( having travelled South a few years ago). It’s simply spectacular, and your videography is second to none. Always watch for your videos and appreciate each one. Thank you for sharing some insight into your own walk. Love those tinctures ! Once, I had pine honey. Your fermenting of the green pine cones makes me curious! I’ve never found natural , hand tended pine cone honey again. It was very special and smelled amazing.
I just found your videos, on both your channels. While going through some of your older videos, I just want to give you a big ole hug. I also moved to Washington in 2020, and I'm glad that you're enjoying the area, it's really magical. I hope you well on your journey!
Love your peaceful and calming videos. I noticed that you were concerned about your top on the beautiful cabinet, have you thought about putting glass on the top to preserve the lovely wood??
Congratulations on your subscribers award! You deserve it! Both your channels are my first stop on TH-cam when I need peace and to get away from normal western society! I LOVE your videos ❤️
Congrats! Your content on both channels is valuable and presented in a very calming, soothing way. It's always a pleasure to watch and one always leaves with knowledge. Thank you for sharing. Well deserved.
Fermented pine syrup is very common among the foragers I see in Vermont, looking forward to making some myself next year. I've heard amazing things about the taste and smell. I mostly see it made with brown sugar.
Did you ever thought of writing a book of poems? You are very poetic with nature. Or a recipe book with captions of your poetic journey on finding that main ingredient in that recipe. Here's another thought. Feeling adventurous, buy a live-in van and explore the lands. You don't have to ditch your apartment.
Congratulations on reaching 100,000 subscribers on this channel! I first found you when I was drawn to the "Daughter of Old" title. Love your Green Witch channel too. I will be 75 in a week, and I have noticed in some of the comments that you are loved by both young and old. So you must be doing something right. ❤️
Annabel you should be excited about your playbutton! You’ve worked hard to get your work out there and it’s clearly paying off. Congratulations and keep up the good work.
I can't wait to look back on you being so excited about 100k when you're at 1M! And also excited to be able to say I was here from the start! Keep it up xx
Wow.. something it's similar to what brought me to Japan from my homeland in South America... I've been here almost 5 years, I was so eager to leave in 2020 but you know what happened then...and I was just falling deeper and deeper, until I understood that I needed to care of myself and my house, to transform it into a home for me, a magical place that could comfort me.... And I'm in that process I have not found a complete equilibrium but this small change of mind: " Stop thinking about leaving Japan and start to actually live in Japan" opened a bunch of experiences and self-discovery, I've even found another foreigner who I fell in love with... Something that I could never think would be possible, I'm improving in different ways and I feel that I'll be ready to go back to my country with my beloved ones, but I will have in my heart the cozy home that I could make here as well as the experiences that I could have there.
Thank you for the beautiful footage. Congratulations on 100K. I am happy for your epiphany regarding the PNW. I look forward to more from that location.
Congratulations on over 100k here! You have most definitely touched my life with your videos. Which I want to thank you for creating this and the Green Witch channels. Back in late 2019 I found inspiration from my 12 year old self who dreamed and dreamed in the yard of being an herbalist. As I clipped "herbs" (grass) and concocted medicines in a hand me down mortal and pestle. From that point I set out to reignite my dream but, shortly after, the pandemic hit and I found myself working even more (healthcare) I could not start my journey just yet. However, at some point, in late 2020 in complete burn out I searched for Green Witchcraft on TH-cam and found your videos. Since then I have enrolled in herbalism school (Chestnut to be exact thanks to your recommendation in another video), and began planning a career shift. So, again, thank you so much for being such an inspiration.
Congratulations!! I have to say your videos are always so incredible and I love every single one of them. Where you live is so beautiful it makes me want to cry. I adore the pacific northwest. I am way down in San Diego and we don't have the same thing, but my soul absolutely craves the trees and mountains. Maybe someday I will successfully convince my husband to move there.
Your story today made me think of my life on Vancouver Island, to the North of you. I have left home many times but something always calls me back. There’s something so enchanting about the wilderness here.
It is amazing to watch the growth. I am happy that you have found your for now space. I did something similar when I was younger. I moved to a large city and for the first year it was so exciting and it really helped to widen my world. 🙂 It is good try different things as you just never know where you will land. Ultimately, for me, my spirit needs less stimulation but I have no regrets.
I live in the Northeast and it sucks trying to get a place to live with animals! At least around here! But hopefully I don’t have to move anytime soon. Have 3 rescue dogs and 2 rescue cats! Thanks for sharing great video as always!
I live vicariously with you through these videos. A different path may have led me the way your heart leads you...but I had a different life ahead of me. I may not be able to ever move away from the Great Plains. There is a very different kind of beauty and nature here. I am so grateful to have found your channel! I truly feel like I'm experiencing the places you go with your cinematography. I am so proud of you! Keep living your dreams, following your soul's calling and you will find a place you can forever call "HOME".
🌲🍀🐾🐕yeah, first up, that "about to be pine syrup" has me foaming at the mouth already, 'cause I'm addicted to the scent of pine. 2nd'ly you can make a sacrificial table/workbench top from a piece 3/16"x48"x48" tempered hardboard, or 1/4" or 1/2"x24"x48" plywood that you can pick up from either Menard's, Home depo, or Lowe's. Just measure the table top you want to protect, make your piece a little bit bigger (be careful cutting it) in case you want to put a "lip" around it to keep it from moving around. Also, put a piece of felt or wool blanket material between your top & the worktop so your table doesn't get scratched up. 3rd'ly Congratulations! 🎈🎊🥳🎉🎆🏆🏅🥇🥈🥉you've EARNED IT! 4th'ly I'm pretty certain that every guy out there, who watched YOU sitting next to that tree CHILLAXING (GROUNDING),just felt their Heart "skip-a-beat"💗😳!😎✌🐕🐾🍀🌲.
Wow, what a gorgeous video! You have such grace for someone your age. I want to turn back time 45 years and be your best friend. Very best wishes to you, Annie!
As wonderful as summer is with its abundance of food and herbs. I just cannot wait for fall in New England. I'm on a mountaintop, surrounded by forests and it's always spectacular. I thrive in the cooler weather and LOVE winter here. I get to live that cottage-core life and practice my Herbalism and help my small community. The PNW does look gorgeous and I'm glad you're getting time in Nature, it's SO important.
a long while back in a different video onm your other page I mentioned what you are talking about , there is a kind of energy, an attraction, a connection and it isnt a people connection its a overall energy connection that you get , or at least I get, when you belong somewhere, this happens for many reasons usually its something you need to learn in some way, like you fit in as part of a whole but you are not part of the whole very confusinfg to explain, it can last decades or a life time, but you know it when you find it, and it sounds to me that you found it. life is funny that way it will make things very difficult ( at least for me) when I am doing something that I want to do but it really isn't for me so I keep fighting and pushing then when I finally go ok this is taking to much energy this is what I need appears , not magically but it shows up and things work out or are very close to working out ,they just may need a little adjustment or attention but that is part of it also, to make things adjust things for the self. I am happy tha you found it .
As much as I wish I could go out in nature and forage, I live in a very dry, very hot climate where it’s practically summer 8 months out of the year. So it’s not always an option. Though I do need to research more for the things I am able to forage where I am. Or I’ll have to travel a bit which I’m fine with when possible. Or there are a few new age shops near me where I can get supplies/herbs from. So it’s not like I’m completely without. But to be able to go in “my backyard and forage would be so awesome. But I do have options so I’m good. Thanks for your tips and tricks !!! Maybe one day I’ll be able to move/live where the woods is my back yard ! 🤞🏼
You are such a lovely spirit, Annie. Your videos bring so much comfort and wisdom and natural beauty. You are so deserving of your success, present and future. I wish you all the best in your continued journey of personal growth and self-discovery, and hope that someday soon you find your true home. 😊💙
have you considered getting a plexi-glass cover for the top of the table? just a thought! (Ps I didn't know you were from VA... me too! :-) ) I also moved out of state (although my part of VA is considerably developed more now than it was when I was a kid). I long to return home, but to the mountains... but, I'm not ready yet. Something is keeping me out of state. I haven't quite figured it out just yet... props to you for making such massive changes at such a young place in life.
That's amazing Annabelle, congratulations 🎉🎈🎉 I've been making and drinking your anxiety tea from your last video, it's great and very drinkable. Thank you ❤️
Hello Annabel! I truly enjoy your videos...love your connection to the Earth. You’re Pine syrup sounds fantastic...thank you for sharing!! 💓 I’d love for you to share where you buy your clothing? Blessed be.
I know that feeling of finding where you belong. The Seattle area is where I felt more at home. We left and went to Oregon this summer due to housing issues, and I don't like it. The feeling is not the same. I am trying to find my place of zen here.
Congratulations 🤗 Thank you for sharing your story ❤ & loved the wonderful walk in the woods. Sending you Love and Light from Washington state. Have a blessed week 💖 🌟
I moved to the PNW, across the water from S, 10 years ago after living my life in the Midwest (Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado) for 60+ years. I've been looking for that special place that is "home" all my life. It wasn't in the Midwest! 😊. This has felt more like home then anywhere I've ever lived but due to circumstances beyond my control il be leaving here in the next few months. While in a sense my heart is broken at leaving, I am looking forward to the several positives associated with this move. I love your videos which are so lovely and calming. Thank you for sharing your heart.
It takes between three and five years before an apple tree bares fruit. I needs time to grow and mature before it's true beauty and purpose is revealed. It's been three years for you, so maybe a few more years is what you need to realize the beauty that although very apparent by your job telling you that 100,000 people want to hear and see your stories, wherever you live and love. But maybe there's a better reason to keep the roots you've put down. It's funny to hear you say that in November you'll be 23, I'll be 66 at the end of the same month. And that's the year my journey begins, I hope I can bare fruit in three years but if it takes five, I'll still receive the sweat sounds that comes from it. Be patient little bird.
I can relate to the "almost living in the right place" so much. I think I myself am about 90% there. I also thought you were a few years older than you actually are, you are very mature! I was such a child still throughout most of my 20's, and you have a lot more figured out than I did at your age :)
Maybe the next step is to move further north like Northern B.C.or the southern part of Alaska to experience the culture and fauna there? I don't think it woowoo at all. When I had the chance to do my final studies in the Yukon, I felt for some reason at peace, at home. When i did come home and to this day, there are times I just want to sell everything I have and move north..yet at this point in my life, I have become content with what I have and one day will make a visit to satisfy that craving...It's funny how life takes it paths and u-turns and what we make of it as it comes. Thank you for sharing

Northern California has a lot of green... Are you in the Humboldt/Del Norte County area?
Are you in San Jose area? I’m in Silicon Valley.
If only I was 23 again...and some of my choices would have been different. But it is what it is. And I think its lovely that, a very young age, you are able to reflect on the purpose of your life. With such immense beauty. 💜💜💜💜

This is how it feels for me also
I thought you were older than 22 almost 23. The way you talk and act makes you seem more mature. Bravo on that and the second plaque. Great job.

I'm going to be moving to Florida soon and I already know that I too will be missing the landscapes of WA. Most beautiful place I've ever lived. 💚🏞🌄
I hope all of the Moms out here pay attention to one of the most powerful magical energies, a mother's praise and and approval!

Very nice lady from what I've understood.
I'm feeling an Asheville, NC vibe from you. Keep learning new places and you'll have a rememberance when you find home.
Lovely as always ❤❤❤❤❤
At 72 I admire so much what you have done. In my next life I too will have those adventures. I thought I had my life planned and it went another way. Am not complaining, I am blessed and
Happy where I am now.
Thank you for sharing.
Dear Annabel,
You are so deserving of your second TH-cam Award!
Congratulations on the awards. Great channel. Thanks 👍❤️
Sometimes an obstacle in life's path is not in the way.....it turns out to be the way🥰
You’re lucky to find such an abundance! Foraging in NC is harder. Wondering if it’s the high heat and land clearing for building.
Check out Bellingham,Wa. It's the Best of Both Worlds because you get nature and City. Plus I've never lived in a more dog friendly place
...oh, and congratulations!
Wow, I didn't realize that you are 23. Proud of you 🧡
Congratulations on your subscribers award!
Love, love, love this. Everything about you and your life. You have such a comforting, calming vibe. And that river is just breathtaking.❤️
Mmm, I love these videos, I find them so soothing.
So beautiful and peaceful... thank u for sharing! I luv the music!!!!!
Congratulations on surpassing 100,000 subs on your TH-cam channel! Most excellent! Thank you for sharing what you do.
Wow.. something it's similar to what brought me to Japan from my homeland in South America...
Ps not a bad thing because you definitely look young (and I get we don’t see all of you) but you are very very mature for your age/ old soul!
i adore your videos. i can say tiny homes are an amazing option😊
That opening shot made my jaw drop. 💚💚
Sending love. I love your content and wish you all the same serenity it brings me.
4th'ly I'm pretty certain that every guy out there, who watched YOU sitting next to that tree CHILLAXING (GROUNDING),just felt their Heart "skip-a-beat"💗😳!😎✌🐕🐾🍀🌲.
check out the lion mountain, up to the right, that starts at 37 seconds.
I luv your videos can't stop Watching them I learned just from watching
a long while back in a different video onm your other page I mentioned what you are talking about , there is a kind of energy, an attraction, a connection and it isnt a people connection its a overall energy connection that you get , or at least I get, when you belong somewhere, this happens for many reasons usually its something you need to learn in some way, like you fit in as part of a whole but you are not part of the whole very confusinfg to explain, it can last decades or a life time, but you know it when you find it, and it sounds to me that you found it.
life is funny that way it will make things very difficult ( at least for me) when I am doing something that I want to do but it really isn't for me so I keep fighting and pushing then when I finally go ok this is taking to much energy this is what I need appears , not magically but it shows up and things work out or are very close to working out ,they just may need a little adjustment or attention but that is part of it also, to make things adjust things for the self. I am happy tha you found it .
You are so wise at such a young age! You inspire me, almost twice your age, to continue on my own journey of self discovery 💚
Beautiful Annie, thanks! Having lived in WA many, many years ago, I understand the hesitation to leave such a beautiful place. Enjoy your time there!
Congratulations 🎉
Hello Annabel. Excellent video and altogether inspiring.
I'm so excited that you get to stay a while longer!
congratulations!!! we love you!!
You're awesome! Disney should create a character and a movie inspired by you. 😊
Lovely 💚💚🙏🙏 Thank you 🥰🥰
Awe. Congratulations! You so deserve this ♥️😉🌸🌈
As much as I wish I could go out in nature and forage, I live in a very dry, very hot climate where it’s practically summer 8 months out of the year. 🤞🏼
You Grow, Girl!💚
That's some nice looking country! Thank you for taking me there! You could have stayed outside for awhile. Fish would be good for supper too.
Thank you for this ❤
Congratulations
I’d love for you to share where you buy your clothing?
Blessed be.
Off-grid in Wales? I like watching alternative living options, especially ones deep in nature. Hope my suggestion is interesting! 🥰🙏
Congratulations 🎉 you deserve it.
Maine. 🖤
Beautiful video ❤️
You are amazing!
Happy tears for you, love. Congratulations.
Your videos are always so beautiful and thoughtful. Congratulations on 100,000!
