I passed my test today in London on the first try and I can't begin to thank you enough for all the videos! They have been an absolute lifesaver in my journey. They're so knowledgeable, supportive, and understanding and I wouldn't have passed with them!

I would always use my palm to dress the horn as it needs to be firm, The airbags will not be come out like that 😂 It’s only if there’s sudden impact on the car itself
So if the student doesnt no the controls of the car will the examiner always pull them over and show them or is this dependant on examiner and will they be given a minor fault for this please
This depends on the examiner, most times they will ask you to park up and show you where it is and ask again on the go. If they don’t do this, You would just get marked down for this as a minor fault

You want to just keep yourself relaxed The test is all about just driving safe. You will be a little nervous when you first start, just take s few breaths and before you know it you’ll be driving (the test is only 35-40 mins) the driving part is usually only 30 mins So you will be back before you know it, don’t focus on what the examiners doing, and be sure to ask if you’re unsure :) (don’t worry if you go the wrong way) Hope this helps :)
@@ClearviewDriving also sorry to bother you when doing the reverse on the right hand side my instructor always tells me if a car is moving towards me in close proximity to stop and wait re check my observations before carrying on with the movement but ive been watching other videos on here showing them still moving whilst others are moving around them and other instructors is telling me that i should be still moving im confused
@@maisymorris3617 stick with what your instructor has taught you, While reversing if someone approaches you should stop and only continue when it’s safe It’s only if it’s a wide road and the other vehicle is passing at a distance that you would continue

Sian Howe. I would think don't use your car horn when near horses on the road, as it may spook them! And by law you must not use the horn between the hours of 11:00pm/7:00am (but check the Highway Code as this may have changed).

You should also have mentioned when demisting the front windscreen, the fan needs to be on full heat and full speed.
Most cars like my 2021 Toyota Corolla Hybrid will put the A/C on and the fans on full

Honestly I will look into that one 😅 I just assumed not to use the horn when there’s pedestrians close as that may suddenly scare them
