It’s sad what the “original cancel culture” people did to the Dixie Chicks. Young girls clearly loved and needed this music. So much was lost over such COMPLETE nonsense. The Dixie Chicks were criticized for criticizing a US President on foreign soil. All these years later, TRUMP criticized Biden and current Senators while on foreign soil and the same people who “cancelled” the Dixie Chicks had no problem with Trump. The hypocrisy and stupidity is just too much.

I'll always love Natalie. I see this video and the command that she had over the audience is nothing short of amazing. There were mixed feelings in the band at this time, but she still had them all in the palm of her hand, whether she was completely in the moment or not. Regardless of any inner feelings, she was well aware that the cameras were rolling for this show. The talent can't be taken away...the whole band is in the moment and definitely delivered.

I was there and yes...it was a moment. Haha. I was only 15 years old and just began playing fiddle! Inspired by Martie. I'm 33 now. Still playing all their solos and riffs. And more. Also inspired to pick up dobro by Emily. It was like we were rolling, but nobody needed drugs! Everyone sang every word of every frickin' song! The energy of everyone, knowing it was being filmed for TV...no cell phones. I saw more than a few crying faces when the audience sang, and Natalie shouted, "your turn"! I was bawling!! You could really feel everyone's love. For the Chicks, and strangely, each other!!

I don’t give a shite about their previous political view controversy. They have and always be one of the best musical Groups this country has produced. Period.

It's rare. Very rare. A combination of liking the band, loving the music, and the messages in it. So many can relate to them, and they're powerful and emotional.
It's a beautiful thing to see... that many people all united and feeling it so strongly.

I love Natalie's hair here. The best she has ever looked.
Don't know why she does the butch hair cuts when you have hair this beautiful.

I think she looked equally gorgeous in An Evening With The Dixie Chicks video, with her hair in long flowing curls. And the whole band was on fire that night...

Cuz she is now a butch feminist that's still angry....pretty sad really. They are now far from what they used to be. Should have stuck to music, not politics.
