I don't think most people truly understand how amazing Stapleton and his band are, and it extends well beyond the "country" genre that people place him into. He is a purveyor of true musicianship and the songwriting speaks for itself. Guitars and bass are plugged into real amplifiers, keys and pedal steel are being played by people, not backing tracks. I had the pleasure of seeing them perform back in September and it was one of the warmest and most authentic sounding live arena shows I've heard. Do yourself a favor and spend whatever it costs to see them whenever they come through your town, because this is a once in a generation artist and should be experienced in a live setting.

He is absolutely the most talented voice since Elvis, but i must say that you can't forget his backup singer. He and his wife sound so wonderful together. I think a lot of the songs we all love so much would not be as good without her in them. They were meant to be together and share it with the world. And thank goodness they do. Thank you both for making this world a better place to be.
Very well said! I remember listening to chris Stapleton back before no one knew who he was and I was running around showing his videos off to everyone completely blown away with his voice! When I heard them play “Amanda” and that blonde backup singer (Morgan) I was like holy smokes those 2 sound insane together! Then I find out they’re married and have kids!! Those 2 crazy voices have offspring together….those kids probably came out singing! They’re gonna be ridiculous singers if they pursue it. Love everything you do Chris!

Now I also love Jelly Roll, Luke Combs with the singer and writer Tracy Chapman. Finally... people of many colors and shapes singing their love out into the world.❤
I'm an old guy, and I just discovered Chris Stapleton's band. I watched the Anthem the next day after the super bowl, because I just wasn't following football this year like days gone past, kind of like music gone past... So was cruising through TH-cam today and ran across the Anthem again, and "really" watched it again. Thought I'd watch some other Chris Stapleton stuff, which brings me to this concert... I sure am impressed with these youngsters... Gives me faith in young music again. Does anyone else see, or hear, or feel comparisons to the early Allman Brothers , or Marshall Tucker? Anyway, i'm very impressed, and glad I found them.
Yes....I definitely pick up MTB. Saw them at the Horse Park of NJ for their 45th Anniversary....they were FAB!! I'm new to Chris as well. Love so many of his songs....but Tennessee Whiskey was #1....then COLD....blew me away. I hope I can get to see he live.....soon!!💜💜

This is the very first time hearing this guy after the national anthem, and I swear to the Lord above that I just can't stop crying with a smile. Every song is like a damn movie that just moves you to uncontrollable tears..So happy I discovered this man's music.

Oh god yes........ When she comforted Vince Gill at George Jone's funeral, singing "Go rest high on that Mountain" .... She has always been STRONG while humble. And that is how I see Chris as well. The history runs so deep in this music... in the 1950s I would listen to my little AM radio late at night when WSM's 50 thousand watt clear channel reached all the way to Michigan. Now, I live in Nashville... high on a forested hill and listen to it on my laptop computer. Glad I lived to be 75 and that I still have ears !
When you see a performance like that it reminds you why we are here and what we are capable of. If we could only stop fighting amongst ourselves. What a universal species we could be.

He seems less of a "showman" and more of a deep, deep soul. The way he squeezes his eyes so tightly closed when he hits those heart-ripping lyrics.... he goes internal for a while. But here, he was back HOME... and it seemed to ease him a bit.
I teach young people like Chris... each one gifted and each one saddled with their own cross to bear... but with encouragement and love they can become beacons for the rest of us. Bless Them!
I heard this man sing for the first time on the inboard entertainment on a delta flight from Australia to USA, I didnt know him but randomly chose the song, replayed it 20 times until the plane landed, felt like I won the lottery, that was my four leaf clover, Kenny Rogers had passed and I found my new Country Singer !

I saw Chris Stapleton at the Susquehanna/ Phila / New Jersey concert of June 2018 . I’m still talking about that concert ! I was right up front. I could’ve shaken his hand . First heard Chris three or four years ago. I've been to two concerts and an avid fan ever since. He's one of those rare gems that only come around once a generation or so. A rocking, country, blues artist with a voice that speaks to the soul.

Parachute was the very first song I heard Chris sing over the radio. I immediately looked him up on TH-cam and have been a die hard fan ever since !!! Saw him live several years ago, and it was awesome, he gives a 1000 % to his fans, and he's just as good live as he is on his recordings.

I love Chris. His heart comes through every song he sings and his talent is so moving to so many. The most special thing to me is that he sings to his wife and many of his songs are love songs, and the interaction between him and his wife when they sing is just so amazing. You can see true love performing live in front of you. It moves me so much. God knows I wish I could sing to my wife like that and see her sing back to me. I watched them perform this tune tonight on ACA and it blew me away. Never heard It before. Patty Loveless brought tears to my eyes. Then the song after it my Mom who is now passed used to play it over and over after a few ( or more) drinks. I think she knew it was Divorce time coming. I still can't listen to it without seeing her sitting there singing ( or try to) it. Mom and Dad both passed of Cancer not to long after the Divorce 😪 But they still loved each other.

This was amazing. My wife and I just seen him in August in Hershey PA. Such a awesome evening. Much different feel then other concerts I have been to. He made sure you got your money's worth too! Played for awhile. I'd say close to 2 hours.

He is absolutely the most talented voice since Elvis, but i must say that you can't forget his backup singer. He and his wife sound so wonderful together. I think a lot of the songs we all love so much would not be as good without her in them. They were meant to be together and share it with the world. And thank goodness they do. When I heard them play “Amanda” and that blonde backup singer (Morgan) I was like holy smokes those 2 sound insane together! Then I find out they’re married and have kids!! Those 2 crazy voices have offspring together….those kids probably came out singing! They’re gonna be ridiculous singers if they pursue it. Love everything you do Chris!

I'm an old guy, and I just discovered Chris Stapleton's band. I watched the Anthem the next day after the super bowl, because I just wasn't following football this year like days gone past, kind of like music gone past... So was cruising through TH-cam today and ran across the Anthem again, and "really" watched it again. Thought I'd watch some other Chris Stapleton stuff, which brings me to this concert... I sure am impressed with these youngsters... Gives me faith in young music again. Does anyone else see, or hear, or feel comparisons to the early Allman Brothers , or Marshall Tucker? Anyway, i'm very impressed, and glad I found them.

I agree. I always cry when I listen to Patty Loveless with Chris and Morgan, or Patty with Vince Gill at George Jone's funeral... These are special souls ... I am so grateful for them being with us .

During that performance, Chris and Patty looked at each other and signaled who was going to sing. Moving close to the mic, Patty takes the lead and sings her song. At times, Patty withdraws from the mic to gesture Chris to "take it away." And when they both sang, it had an immense effect: The melding of the voices, the eras, the facets of country music-evolving into something new and refreshing.
It was a legendary performance.
Oh god yes........ When she comforted Vince Gill at George Jone's funeral, singing "Go rest high on that Mountain" .... She has always been STRONG while humble. And that is how I see Chris as well. The history runs so deep in this music... in the 1950s I would listen to my little AM radio late at night when WSM's 50 thousand watt clear channel reached all the way to Michigan. Now, I live in Nashville... high on a forested hill and listen to it on my laptop computer. Glad I lived to be 75 and that I still have ears !

I love its very rare for Chris to look at the crowd. Most of the time it's just him and Morgan and nobody else. He just sings to her.
He seems less of a "showman" and more of a deep, deep soul. The way he squeezes his eyes so tightly closed when he hits those heart-ripping lyrics.... he goes internal for a while. But here, he was back HOME... and it seemed to ease him a bit.
I teach young people like Chris... each one gifted and each one saddled with their own cross to bear... but with encouragement and love they can become beacons for the rest of us. Bless Them!

I saw Chris Stapleton at the Susquehanna/ Phila / New Jersey concert of June 2018 . I’m still talking about that concert ! I was right up front. I could’ve shaken his hand . I haven't fallen in love with someone's music since Dwight Yoakum until I heard Chris Stapleton perform. I can listen to him everyday and night and still be eexcitedi to hear more of him. I love to see the affection between him and Morgane as well. Now that's how a man treats the woman he loves !

Parachute was the very first song I heard Chris sing over the radio. I immediately looked him up on TH-cam and have been a die hard fan ever since !!! Saw him live several years ago, and it was awesome, he gives a 1000 % to his fans, and he's just as good live as he is on his recordings.

I love Chris. His heart comes through every song he sings and his talent is so moving to so many. The most special thing to me is that he sings to his wife and many of his songs are love songs, and the interaction between him and his wife when they sing is just so amazing. You can see true love performing live in front of you. It moves me so much. God knows I wish I could sing to my wife like that and see her sing back to me. I watched them perform this tune tonight on ACA and it blew me away. Never heard It before. Patty Loveless brought tears to my eyes.
Then the song after it my Mom who is now passed used to play it over and over after a few ( or more) drinks.
I think she knew it was Divorce time coming.
I still can't listen to it without seeing her sitting there singing ( or try to) it. Mom and Dad both passed of Cancer not to long after the Divorce 😪 But they still loved each other.
This music connects so damn deep in our souls... I know.
Chris Stapleton is a generational talent. It's uncanny how close he sounds to his recordings.
I think it's because he is what he is..... at all times and in all places. Probably a huge part of why she loves him so...

This was amazing. My wife and I just seen him in August in Hershey PA. Such a awesome evening. Much different feel then other concerts I have been to. He made sure you got your money's worth too! Played for awhile. I'd say close to 2 hours.
