Can you cruise from US to UK for less than flying?

  • Our first step in our full-time nomad travel adventures was a trans-Atlantic cruise from Florida to London. Watch to find out what we thought about the cruise and what it cost us for a 16 day, and whether we would do it again.
    We are new to this, so please excuse our "teething" issues, we are getting better! LOL

    Thanks for posting these Harry! Madeira was definitely my favorite from this leg of the journey. Hope your travels continue to be awesome!

      Wasn't Madeira amazing? Loved all the ports, but Madeira and Azores were extra special. Hope to meet you again in the future!

    Great video and thank you for the cost breakdown. I am definitely putting a repositioning cruise on my list of options when traveling. Looking forward to the next one. Safe travels

      Kind of blows your mind doesn't it? We couldn't believe that we could do 16 days for that price! For sure we'll be doing it again in the future ...

    Awesome to see where you are going and the costs really highlight the differences. I always thought the cruise would have been more expensive! I will have to join you on one of the repositioning cruises!!

    If you are going to do 2 transatlantics in a year you can book 1 return flight, eg sail from usa in March, fly back on your first leg of the return ticket, the in the Fall/Autumn fly back to the UK on the other half of your return ticket then sail back to the usa on another transatlantic

    Amazing price and gorgeous content.
    Silly question. What is meant by repositioning? Military term?

    • @2TravelWithoutOrders
      @2TravelWithoutOrders  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not a silly question at all. A repositioning cruise is when the cruise line needs to move their ships for seasonal changes. These are typically one way cruises (ie not coming back to the port that the cruise starts at). Great way to keep costs down!

    Just a note, only 1 of you has to buy WiFi, and you can switch devices so easily

      Thanks, they told us we both had to .... I guess it always pays to ask someone who has actually done it rather than a staff member who might not know, eh? Thanks!
