The amazing thing is that there are approximately 3,000 mosques in Istanbul to explore, and almost all of them are open and free for tourists to visit (outside of prayer times). Just remember to be considerate and abide by the rules - in most mosques that means knees and shoulders need to be covered for both men and women, and women are required have their head covered.
