@@SheGamesAllDay I run the game at 1080p at ultra settings. When I was using Directx 12, highs would be in the 200s because I'm also using AMD’s frame generation, but an average would be 120 to 140. What pissed me off was the inconsistency that happened when a shit amount of things were going on, such as a lot of explosions and bombs going off. The frame rate would drop to low 70s to 60s. Using Directx 11, I would get an average of 110 to 120, but the frame rate sticks, if you know what I mean. Also, the developers recognize that the 7000 series has low-performance issues, and they don't know why, and they are working on fixing that.
EDIT: If anyone runs into an issue in which the game starts running in slow motion trying ALT-ENTER to change into windowed mode or fullscreen mode. Usually changing back and forth fixed that issue for me.
Bruh your frametime is a chaos... I tried this same cofig and it works in Low settings at +120 fps, mybe you need a clean drivers installation, but thanks a lot for this trick
switching to dx11 wasn't that good for me, yeah i reached 120 fps, but just for a moment, the rest of the time i had from 65 to 85-90 fps, and they were a lot more unstable. With dx12 my game runs at 70-90, but it feels a lot smoother. Btw i tested it on difficulty 6 with an rtx 4060 at 1080p with mid-high settings
Oh man yeah I’m not sure about that. I used to have a rog ally and playing at 900p gave a good fps boost while the game still looking good. Not sure if you can lower resolution on steam deck?
@@SheGamesAllDay you can, but it looks horrible and doesn't affect performance much. I was having to play at 720p in performance and it was horrible. Luckily with the Proton 9 it can run at 800p in super quality at around 40 fps with the particles on hight, with some drops to 30 on demanding difficulties. im also disabling the anti alising because it just make everithing blurry. it is WAY BETTER than before. im playing only on the deck so is a huge change for me.
You should add information that this is a dedicated tutorial for AMD card users. On two setups consisting of Intel processors and nvidia 3070Ti and 3080 cards, there is no difference in the number of fps. Additionally, a platform with a 3080 card does not run the game after deleting the shader files.
Update so hopefully people see this. Just type dx11 in the gap it works make sure u delete shaders
what gap?
I did it now when i open game it just goes to black screen any idea on how to fix it I’ve tried uninstalling and now no matter what I do I can’t play

Thanks for the tutorial, i noticed the frame rate is definitely a whole lot smoother.
Ur very welcome! Yeah idk what’s up with it but amd cards don’t do so well in this game
What gpu do you have?

cant find shaders folder for some reason

rtx 4080 5800X3D barely had 60-90 fps on medium 1440p, now fps is 120+. Thx a lot!!!
Hell yes, love to see it!!
Not sure how you did it but my game wont launch with d11
You deleted the folder as well? What gpu do you have ?
@@SheGamesAllDay yah i did i have a rx 6800M
@@Mykasah i have rx 6600 and aswell same problem
Try going to launch option and type "dx11" (without the semicolon)
Thats what worked
for me
for some reason i did this and now hd2 crashes everytime i change the resoltion
Does this work with the update from yesterday? Cant start the game with dx11.

yeah i think something was actually wrong with my 7800xt, i switched to a 4070ti now!
i cant make it to work for some reason when i launch i wait like 2 mins in blackscreen and then the game just closes
some people are having issues if you put in -dx11- like this. try just putting in dx11. no other special characters
Non of this dx11 options worked for me
I haven’t had a chance to try it again but since there’s been a lot of updates it may not work.
I just get a black screen help

I wish a good day.
Unfortunatley with the DX11 settings, my game crashes.
Any workarounds for that.
unfortunately for my 6600m this method did not help, so it is not launched
Some have mentioned you have to just type dx11 : no special characters
@@SheGamesAllDay It doesn't work. Without the dash, the game does not perceive the launch parameters, and the game still runs on DirectX 12
I type --use-d3d11 and game crashes every time
Try without the special characters
@@SheGamesAllDay like use d3d11 ? Sorry i dumb can you give me sample pls

if your eyes can notice it at all, a tiny bit more blurry?
sad i cant do this on the steam deckm, it would help alot, but it doest not let you change or delete those files

Is it just me or with dx11 the game crashes when you try to play with people?
is it fixxed?
Mine averages about 80 fps 1440p ultra using 13. I didn’t know you could change it, I’m new to pc gaming.
Hi, dudes! Does it work now? My game won't start
Yes, it works. Takes a long time to start the first time
