  • On February 9, 1964, multiple news reports alleged that all crime across the United States ceased for one hour after an unprecedented foreign invasion had hit the entire country.
    But what's the full story?

The supposedly "popular" music has quantifiably gotten worse. 0 - 3 highly predictable chords played to a reggaeton beat machine and extremely auto-tuned vocals isn't music, and even A.I. is using it as the stepping stone on its path to learning how to make real music.
The 1960s through to 2003 had interesting music. Somewhere around there, it just got exponentially worse, and the top 100 charts became completely engulfed in a social engineering experiment: how dumb can we make it before people start to notice?
Nirvana and Deftones made a major come back on the top Spotify list. That's a sign that we're culturally bankrupt. Kids are taking time machines to get away from this WEF noise.

      @ElectricoGamez ปีที่แล้ว

@@manictigerand by 2010, any signs of the previous music generation had faded so much, it basically became non existent and was completely forgotten about.

That's wrong, though. It's been remembered because nothing else really is. When everything is bland, mediocre crap, then stuff from the 60s - 90s is remembered. Everyone knows The Beatles, Nirvana and Michael Jackson. Zoomers bring back classics that hadn't been remembered since the 60s, 70s and 80s. This stuff is easier to dig up than ever before, thanks to the internet.
It's radio that's getting forgotten about. That top 100 is dinosaur crap. It is as irrelevant as its chords are boring and forgettable.

As a musician myself, this was great. I'm not even a fan of The Beatles. I could never get into them, yet I found myself watching through to the end. I never really thought about what an impact that band has had and continues to have to this day. Without them being the catalyst there are many, many incredible, iconic artists that we may not have seen. Both from the UK, further out in Europe and in the US.
You ended on a great tone there. Especially considering the darker opening of JFK's assassination.

mate, i'm only halfway through this documentary thus far and MAN - you have an INCREDIBLE gift as a narrator, and filmmaker. your vocal pacing is smooth, your enunciation succinct without being jarring or cutting, and your tone is so lively whilst still being calm. your video's transitions are exciting and smooth, they're fascinating, they're engaging; they ensnare and hold attention, make me excited and eager to see what's in the next second. you have ALL the right ways of punctuating and presenting your points, your conversational yet educating script is a DELIGHT to listen to, and dissect, and your balance of humor is on point. i love it. thanks so much for uploading, mate - you're a top notch creator, and i hope you continue to do this for as long as you're able. take care of yourself, dude; hope you're doing well and keeping in tune with yourself, taking your breaks as needed, and are as healthy, happy, and comfortable as you can be. (and the sentiments are same to those who are close to you, too.) cheers, mate-- and see you next time!!

I’m reminded of when my parents thought I had potential as a pianist. Needless to say, it was a trying time. I had one years of experience with piano before I began to take lessons, I sorta just watched tutorials on how to play songs, then when I actually got into learning, it was a wholly new experience, since I never really learned actually how to play piano. It didn’t help my goober self decided to become a pianist in our school’s jazz band, meaning I had double the workload to practice. Thing is, I never did practice any of it, today I’m still not sure why I never did, I had all the time in the world, yet I just never did. Of course, this bit me in the backside, why wouldn’t it? The only good thing out of playing piano in jazz band was that I learned how to play bass clef, because I was then reserved to playing bass stuff because my jazz band director knew I was in over my head. Then came the recital. It was in a church. I still look on it with dread. I don’t remember the song but I remember I started out strong then a man coughed, and I lost my train of thought. It was an embarrassing moment. To see my piano teacher’s visible frustration, as well just sitting there in the spotlight in silence, and then, the pity clapping. I also remember losing my mind in a bathroom until my dad dragged me out of there. I never did touch a piano again. Never sure why I did. Though, it’s not like I still remember how to play, that was years ago after all.

God that ending just hit me bro. I took piano lessons when I was in kindergarten and according to my parents I was really good I just never practiced. I even got my grandma's standing piano. I still remember the house I went to, my instructor also had me practice the harp and bells along with the piano. But the biggest experience I remember is the Christmas recital I played for at the nursing home my grandpa was in. It's definitely the best memory I have, especially since that grandpa then died almost exactly a year later.
I was definitely not expecting such an emotional ending but I guess that goes to show how much music moves us. Music is emotion expressed through abstract sound. It's why song's can just feel happy or sad, words or lyrics can tell us a lot but music can fill in the gaps.

What an amazing video, truly a work of art here! As an 18 year old musician myself, I can say that music has a very deep effect on people, so much so that it is impossible to describe with words. After watching this masterpiece, I's become blatantly obvious that an entire generation of young people can be tied together with just a few songs, 'I Want to Know What Love Is ' by Foreigner for example, which is one of the major staples of the 80s.
I can't help but feel that people don't have a special connection with music anymore, nor do I see a selection of songs representing my generation in the next 50 years.

About the "Paul died and was replaced"-thing happening because there was no internet access back then: let me remind you that there are - to this day - people out there who think that Avril Lavigne died after the release of hir first album an was replaced by a woman called Melissa Vandella

People also think John Bennett Ramsey never died and that she is now Katy Perry. People come up with insane stories.

I was expecting the typical NationSquid technology video, but the moment some much more friendly faces came on to the screen, I realised this would be a much better happier video, and that honestly I would enjoy more. I’d like more of this please!

Music is really the ultimate, most addictive, purest drug humanity has ever created.
And the best part it is completely safe.
Somehow, even for just an moment, a musical group managed to end crime and have humanity singing and cheering together as one.
It wasn’t some righteous world leader, genius scientist, or miracle child that did it…
It was four boys from Liverpool with funny haircuts singing love songs.
