Work from home with Toddler and Baby with a 9am-5pm job

  • I've been working from home full time as a Project Manager for a corporation for almost three years. After trial and error I’ve learned a few tricks with working from home with my toddler that I have implemented with my baby as well.
In today's video, join me as we go through a day in the life of a work-at-home mom with a toddler and baby. I'll share a few tips along the way.
    Tip #12. Create a separate at-home task.
Tip #11. Do the most challenging task early. Take care of yourself
    Tip 10. Organize your area
Tip #9. Create different working areas
Tip #8. Great dress for the day
Tip #7. Be upfront with your team. Trying to keep kids quiet during meetings can be stressful, but if they know you’ll have kids in the background and will be on mute can reduce the stress a little.
Tip #6. Stick to nap schedules.
Tip #5. Maximize downtime to play with the kids, return emails, and complete offline tasks.
Tip #4. Be kind to yourself, set attainable goals, and prioritize urgent matters.
Tip #3. Control screen time sometimes is okay.
Tip #2. Block out lunch times on your work calendar.
Tip #1. Schedule meetings during the kid's nap times, if possible.
Bonus tip: Get help from family/friends throughout the week. Whether it’s an hour a day - 3Xs a week, getting a sitter twice a week for a few hours, or going to a friend's house to work. Don’t be shy and accept help.
Remember, you can do it. It will all work out for the best.

I’m a single mom of 3 girls, just got my bachelors degree, live in a bad area and refuse to send my kids to daycare. You have given me so so much confidence to pull me and my kids out this situation using my career and still being there for my kids❤❤❤❤ I have asked god to show me the way. This gives me an idea of what I need to do.
