I love this! And I'm frustrated because I've made 3 with a directional pattern on the paper, and each time I have folded and cut incorrectly, so the pattern keeps coming out sideways instead of upright! I thought I had it this last time, but no. I wish you could show which way to fold with a directional-patterned paper!
I love this but please tell me do you use 12x12 scrapbook PAPER or 12x12 sheet of double sided CardStock.. Please advise cause i just did one with card stock and its to stiff... I love its stiff cause it will hold more I think but feels weird to me.. please let me know .. Hugs
HI Lilibet! For this one I used Graphic 45 Double Sided Scrapbook Paper. It is a little lighter weight than a "card stock" paper, but still works well for this because it is so stiff. I hope this helps!
Keri, each time I fold for finished book I have the cut section (from end) that shouldn't be there in the middle of the book. I've watched 3 times and cant figure out where I've gone wrong. must be how paper is folded and cut help
HHHMMM...are you folding the paper in half with the cut part on the top? You will end up with the inside pockets being lose, but you can just glue those down. Let's go step by step and see if we can figure it out: 1) First score your paper 2) Fold your flaps up 3) Cut from one end just until you touch the beginning of the 4th page. 4) Fold you paper in half along the middle of the paper, so that you have 2 rows of 4 "pages" I'm wondering if this is the step that is incorrect and maybe you are folding on the wrong seam? 5) Push the book together like in the video. I hope this helps! Let me know!!
