    In today’s episode we’re digging into the real cause for depression and exploring how psychedelics and magnetic transcranial magnetic stimulation are helping to solve this problem?
    If anxiety and depression have become one of your biggest roadblocks and challenges stay tuned, this conversation is aimed at helping you find ways to rewire your brain and get back to chasing fulfillment.
    This episode revolves around the intricate relationship between the brain and mental health, emphasizing the effects of life experiences, habits, and early life events on the brain's functioning. The in-depth exploration covered novel treatment approaches and the profound importance of personal experiences, mindfulness, and the concept of self in shaping mental health. This was a deep-dive into the complex world of mental health, bridging the gap between brain science, life experiences, evolving treatments, and the transformative power of mindfulness.
    Nolan Williams is a neuroscientist that intertwines expert insights on cause and treatment of depression with a focus on preventive mental health approaches, brain-stimulation methods and the potential benefits of psychedelic drugs. Nolan draws the bridge between neurology and psychology.
    NOLAN WILLIAMS QUOTES:
    “Depression is now one of the four leading risk factors for having a heart attack.”
    “You can have physical things that happen in the heart from things that happen in the brain.”
    “I’m a very agnostic tool builder. I really don’t care what the social perception of the tool is, [...] if it’s safe for the patient, and it’s acceptable for the patient, and it’s something I would suggest to my mother, brother, or spouse, and the risk benefit is right, then we’ll look at it.”
    “Depression is comorbid with almost everything, and it makes everything it touches worse.”
    “For a fair amount of people, the mind and self are totally fused, and I think that’s where a lot of the problems are.”

    I had severe anadonia for about 4 months after having a mental breakdown with my job. It impacted my sleep and I had insomnia that got worse by the day... my condition got worse even more cause lack of sleep is frustrating and you feel like going crazy, it felt like my spirit was dead inside. I felt absolutely nothing. No emotions, no anger, no sadness, no happiness no purpose....nothing!
    I was just numb with no feeling at all. It's the worst experience a human being can have...u wish you can just die already. My cure to this horrible condition was daily natural sunlight exposure, cardiovascular exercise like long walks/hikes or running, jumping into cold sea/cold showers, breathing exercises, cleaning my room and doing as much as you can....just staying active was the key. That's the purpose coming back. The sunlight/cold/cardio/breathing naturally increases the dopamine and serotonin levels and that wakes up the spirit again.
    Mother nature is the cure for depression.

    Light does indeed touch the brain by way of the pineal gland. Piezoelectric crystals exist within the pineal gland and depending upon the pressure on the cavity, the colors it emits definitely changes.
    Ever hear someone say "Why are you so blue?" Or "He's red-hot with rage!" Or "I'm feeling a little green around the gills?
    One could argue that they are metaphors. I'd like to suggest this is lost knowledge that has existed for so long, it's merely legend.
    Might be interesting to check for studies on the pineal gland folks.

    I am of the opinion that neurofeedback, biofeedback, HRV Biofeedback, HEG biofeedback and other similar techniques such as tDCS, positive mood induction techniques, photobiomodulation, 10/40 hertz and the like are some of the most successful therapy techniques for persons dealing with mental illness, cognitive decline, and etc. Using pre and post QEEG, HRV measurements, and other measuring techniques are imperative interventions. Considering the extreme global emergency in mental health, and the healthcare funding crisis, I think these are cost effective techniques that should be implemented. Soon, it will be considered malpractice not to use some of these techniques in conjunction with talk and medication interventions.

    I feel like you’re talking about something that already exist. Called bio feedback and brain training? My daughter did this for anxiety and PTSD and it worked tremendously. Basically we trained her brain to create a new neural pathways to calm her brain and then it stayed that way. The way it was explained to me was that they knew the ideal alpha, theater, Delta wave length for the ideal, focused brain… And they sent the frequencies to her brain to create that. We did this versus medication and her anxiety was so bad she was getting aggressive and physically abusive to her siblings so even though it was sort of crazy to try… It worked. And it was not that crazy expensive. They also told me that many top athletes use this to get top focus.

    In order to get rid of anxious mind is to confront what makes you anxious. One time, before I started boxing. I am going to be honest, I lost a street-fight, and it really fucked with me mentally. I was anxious on everything and anything. I just simply could not calm down. Since I started boxing, that has gone away by about 80%. I need to face an opponent that beats my ass again and honestly I think that I would lose all my anxiousness, my anxiousness came from the fear of loss. It is what it is, but if you dont face it head on, I promise you. You will never get rid of it. It's up to you to determine what makes you anxious. You deep down know what caused it, because you know when it started. I personally just told myself that im being a bitch and it actually fixed it.

      @hadawaycolton4263 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      people that are anxious need there confidence restored, and to perfect it. You must build and destroy your confidence again and go through repetitions of this until you are not anxious anymore. Not afraid to face your fears. Anxiousness is a form of fear for whatever reason the individual has. You cannot forget the build part, otherwise the human psyche will always be anxious and afraid of that situation. People need to learn that you win some and you lose some, people with anxious minds always think they will lose.

    Recession is most likely the result of an external factor. For the first time in decades, the United States is losing its clout as a federal reserve currency. They don't have any more economies to use to control inflation, and less money is being spent on stock and oil trading than in the past. They all lend support to the idea that a new multilateral world order is in the works.

      Keep this in the back of your mind. There are good days and bad days. It's a zero-sum game, but keep this advice in mind: spend wisely, invest wisely, and diversify your holdings so that when one performs poorly, the others do as well. This can be accomplished by hiring a knowledgeable specialist whose platform provides a wide range of investment options. By doing so, you leave little room for regrets and may even gain more.

      Well I invest with a top trader Investor Ashton Edwards you might have heard of him.. I can correctly say he's the best top trader in the world, an investment advisor as his diversification skills are great, I say this because i see that in his results as my portfolio grows by averages of 25% to 35% on a weekly basis, unlike i can say for my IRA which has just been trudging along. my portfolio just mirrors what he place and not just on some particular industries of my choosing. He gave me that financial freedom I needed

    The opposite of freedom is slavery.
    Articles 18, 19, 24 and 30 of the UN General Declaration on Human Rights, among others, are.
    19. Freedom of expression. We all have the right to think what we want, to say what we think and to share our opinions with other people.
    30. "No one can take away your human rights."!
    How do the UN articles work in practice, what do you think?

    • @genie-us518
      @genie-us518 ปีที่แล้ว

      They don't, is torturing you on the daily, having CIA agents snitch to congressional members about their governments abuse into people losing their jobs constitute to you human rights? Have you ever experienced frequency weapons on you? I promise you your definitions of torture will take a totally new perspective you'll want to ****all of them from the pure pain just remembering it... You can't forget pain like that you relieve it every time you recall it, your brain doesn't allow you to forget it triggers it as if it happening again when it isn't. It's worse than childbirth. This numbs all your senses and attacks your very sense of even able to produce a thought struggling to breathe. There's no anesthesia for that. It's shocking shocks. The CIA and UN needs to be dismantled we are past illegal consequences at this point, imagine targeting an entire population? It's our government doing this. You know that's execu...tion right under treason? Don't tell me about UN human rights again.

    Again, all this tech talk about depression and no talk about the underlying cause. It serves the intellectuals but not the people who are depressed. The intellectual blindness is more often harmful to the truly depressed.
    It highlights the failure of the 'positive mental dominance' model.
